Updated review:
Came back and it's nice to see that they fixed their growing pains. Ordered quick and food and drinks came out in timely manner. Ordered fried chicken sandwich which turned out to be buffalo style which I don't remember seeing in the description. Strawberry cruffle for the kid, a biscoff cruffle for dessert. My sister and friend got the fish and chips and they both really liked it. The cruffles were great. The chicken sandwich was ok I think if I knew it was buffalo I would have ordered something else. Ube milk tea was pretty good too. Overall food is still good and better service now.

Saw this come up as new place on yelp and food looked good. Came here with some friends to try out. Ordered strawberry cruffle, all day burger, kimchee burger, Korean fried chicken, and loco moco. We all loved the strawberry cruffle, that was super yummy, kiddo liked it a lot. I would definitely order that again, not as dense and more like croissant like. The all day burger had a hot link in it which I don't remember from the description but it gave it a nice smokey flavor and the garlic fries were delicious. Kimchee burger was ok, it had fermented kimchee so was a bit sour for me and little hard to bite through. I prefer the all day burger. Loco moco was pretty good too. Fried chicken surprisingly had a kick to it, which I liked. Overall food is good.
I think they still have some growing pains since they haven't been open that long so they're not that consistent with cooking things. All of our wagu burgers were cooked differently, med, well, and medium rare. The gravy for the loco moco was to thick. Mind you they didn't ask how we wanted it. I think they are little understaffed as the cashier kept leaving to serve food which left people waiting to order. These all can be fixed and hopefully they iron it out cause the...
Read moreI avoided going to Corner Table for about a full year because I ordered a loco moco and the burger was cooked on a dirty grill, giving it a taste that I call "shaggy grill syndrome". Shaggy grill syndrome is a sensation where it feels like there are threads of a shag carpet stuck to your tongue. I believe the sensation is caused when very dirty grill is used to cook food. It feels immensely uncomfortable and extremely gross. It's a horrible sensation.
After a year away, I figured I would give Corner Table one more shot, and I'm afraid that this is going to be my last visit. While thankfully I did not encounter Shaggy Grill Syndrome, the burger in the Loco Moco could not have been more bland. If a single grain of salt or pepper was used in the meat, I would be stunned. It was just plain meat and nothing else. No egg, no garlic powder, nothing. It completely lacked any degree of seasoning or flavor. It was just warm and devoid of any taste. Not even the gravy could save the dish.
Corner Table is situated in an ocean-sized parking lot with so many spaces that even on the day before Christmas, more than half of the parking lot is unused. The environment could not be less enjoyable. It's just heat being thrown off by the sea of pavement, loud cars with poor exhausts driving by, and the sound of people honking their car horn every time they lock/unlock their car doors. The landlord who owns the parking lot needs to replace 75% of the space with trees and walkable space. This place is about as ugly and unpleasant as it gets. Corner Table tries to save the environment with very loud, unpleasant music, which ends up making the...
Read moreSo glad that this new neighborhood gem finally opened! The location is very convenient, with good parking and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. I like the remodel they’ve done on the inside and the nice new outdoor tables they’ve put in.
We came for breakfast around 9am on a Sunday and it was already bustling with people! They’re still getting setup (I think this is the first weekend) so the music is a bit too loud and it took a minute to get our order all in. However, everyone is friendly, accommodating, kind, and the food came out quickly. They have a large bakery selection along with a breakfast menu of hot items including croffles (croissant waffles, yum), and coffees. They also feature a couple daily specials. When we were there it was a hash and a hot chicken sandwich.
We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a strawberry croffle, a latte, a black coffee, and a cheese Danish. Presentation of everything was on point, and everything was absolutely delicious! The breakfast sandwiches were especially good, with fresh avocado, fluffy eggs, crispy bacon and some yummy sauce. The strawberry croffle was decadent! Crunchy waffle, lots of whipped cream, topped with strawberries. Definitely a treat! Coffees were excellent and well prepared (perfect foam on the latte).
Overall, excellent experience and can’t wait to come back and try more of...
