Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Redwood City

I usually like round table but this is the first time iv had a bad experience with them. One saterday my dad and i wanted to order in pizza. So, we called roundtable but got a busy signlal. So at around 10pm my dad drove to their location( which isnt too far away) to order a gourmet veggie. After an hour my dad returnes home with our large gourmet veggie... i took one bite and realized this gourmet VEGGIE has CHICKEN on it... my dad and i are veggiterians. We dont eat meat. So, my dad goes back to roundtable to return the pizza. Another hour later my dad returns home to tell me that they werent going to make another pizza free of charge, that they were going to give us another one for 15% off... even after asking for the supervisor they weren't going to give us a another pizza free of charge. My dad said "fine give me a full refund for the last pizza, ill go somewhere else." Then they gave a full refund and a meat free gourmet veggie. I did ask my dad why we couldnt get through by phone and what he told me flabbergasted me. There were two people working the counter, a regular employee and the supervisor. The employee was working the register and the supervisor was standing against the wall watching the employee work the register. When my dad told the supervisor that he tried calling in but couldnt the supervisor told him that the person who answers the phone was in the restroom... so the supervisor couldnt answer the phone? Shes THE SUPERVISOR she sjiuld be able to do all the jobs! And its just answering the phone!! My gid these were the most incompetent employees iv ever encountered!! And the fact that my dad got a busy signal, no continuous ringing, means ALL the phone lines were used/on...

We went on Sunday, July 20th at 9:45 PM and were discussing with our kids what we were going to order (all of this happened in front of the employees, including the cashier). We were a group of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. At 9:50 PM, just as we were about to place our order, the cashier told us in front of all the employees that “the place was already closed and we couldn’t order because the dough had already been taken to the back.” I told her that it wasn’t 10:00 PM yet, which is the posted closing time, and that we had already been there for 5 minutes. She replied, “We’re closed, I can’t make you anything.”

Honestly, I don’t understand why she didn’t say anything when we arrived, especially since we were right in front of her — or at the very least, she could have asked us to hurry up with our order. I find it extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate, especially knowing we were with four minors.

I DO NOT...

They dont listen to any instruction I ask them on my pizza. I love rt but THIS spot is very subpar most of the time. Too much sauce or too much cheese but if you ask for lite on either of those they dont put anything on it. I legit just need them to scale back the sauce by 15% and I would be great! If I ask for it well done make it well done please they basically ignore you regardless of what you ask. Final note the lady on the phone can be so rude it's...
