Take 5 Oil Change — Local services in Reedsburg

Oh, how I wish I never went to Take 5!!!!! Incredibly dishonest company that I will spread the word about!

First thing is why is there no signs with prices on the outside or inside of the building! It only says pull inside and stay in your vehicle. You pull into the bay and the first thing they ask is if you're there for an oil change, you say yes and instantly start draining your oil. You ask the price and are told they need vehicle information first to know what type of oil.. and they are still draining your oil. You are asked how much driving you do... and told you should up grade your oil type. Asked and told $102 ! Seriously no just the regular oil change, how much is that? $81 wow what choices do I have, you just drained my engine! Ok, fine more than I wanted to pay. After it was done you are told the price is $102 !? Why ?? You are told for the other service fee is another $20 ! What other services? Checked all my fluids, they are all sealed except the washer fluid ( which was filled a week prior for our trip), so a cup of washer fluid was $20? Asked the owner/manager what would happen if I didn't have that much to pay? He said he would call the local police department! I almost took him up on that offer considering they took the oil out of my truck before agreeing to the service! Only thing stopping me was another appointment I needed to get to. And no more...

Always gone here, for years and years. Never had a problem. Old staff were helpful and nice. Went in yesterday. The new staff did not inspire confidence. Woke up to a puddle of oil in my driveway. No oil on the dipstick at all. Don't know how I'm supposed to get my car anywhere and going to lose a full day of work. Wife has been on hold on the phone for almost 30 min. When they finally answered, same guy from yesterday, he offered no solutions. Had to call a different manager. Will update if things change but this is bullshit. STAY AWAY.

update 1: General manager told us to get our own towing to our own shop on our dime and that after their "investigation" would reimburse us. Yeah I'll believe that when I see it. Money I can't afford to spend to wait out some corporate investigation. Time I can'[t spend arranging towing and repairs for a mistake I didn't make. well I guess the mistake I made was going to take 5 in the first place. So very disappointing this was once a great local business. Shame

Update 2: The little stock feedback from the owner is sad. My review clearly states that we have been in touch with the shop manager and have had little to no success...

I never do reviews but i felt like i should since i left feeling uneasy. As the oil change was fast and easy, I feel like the workers need a little bit more people skills. I couldn't afford the most expensive oil change which was 101.99 or the next less expensive which was 89.99 so I went with just the economy which was 49.99 but said and done i still paid 90 because that's what I could afford at that time. The guy slammed his hands on the side of the register(where they take the info) because i didnt go with the most expensive and started to become very rude and when asked questions he would just ignore me or roll his eyes or sigh. They started to be rough with my car and finish to get me out of there so i could leave acted like they were rushing. I left feeling like I was scum to him or atleast a burden. I'm sorry but I won't be back there or would not be recommending, no one should feel like that from someone they don't know or even...
