Treasures — Local services in Rehoboth Beach

While the store is filled with many lovely items, I cannot recommend this shop or its scruples. I went to purchase a few pieces of art. However, I could not see a price listed on one item and asked about the price when checking out. I was quoted $289, but when paying we found the sticker, which said “$199”. I was very willing to pay the listed price, but the owner immediately scrapped it off and insisted the price was incorrect. After she then insinuated that “someone” must have changed the sticker, which was pristinely adhered to the bottom of the frame, we had to walk away and leave the art behind. Bad business practice to try to raise the price when a customer is interested and willing to pay the listed price. There was over $600 of inventory we nearly purchased and had thought about another $400, when we had access to a bigger vehicle. I suppose they don’t mind losing the business....

I've recently stopped in a local store called Treasures. A place that is full of a variety of up-to-date keepsakes. Whether it comes to shopping for your mother, significant other, or son or daughter Treasures lives up to its name. Do not buy any gifts from this store. My mother purchased a tote bag for $95 and didn’t open the package and had the receipt. She was told no returns, exchanges or credit at this store. Poor business. You better hope your gift from here is a “treasure” because you are...
