Randomly me and the fiancée decided to drive until we saw somewhere we wanted to eat. We stumbled upon this establishment on the way to Rehoboth and decided to go here instead. I can't not begin to express how delicious everything was. The menu had an abundance of different foods ranging from sandwiches to entrees and salads. We started with a small plate of their "Earth and Fire Fries" The fries were delicious, and the black garlic aioli on the side for dipping was phenomenal. Our server Daniel was very informative and recommended the bbq brisket for the lunch special he stated it was his favorite. My fiancé got the crab cake sandwich. The food came out in a timely manner, we weren't waiting that long at all. Man when I tell you when they brought my plate out I was literally speechless it looked to pretty to eat. It was fresh and hot out the kitchen. I thought my brisket would need a knife and fork to eat, I was wrong when I tell you that I literally pulled the brisket apart with little to no effort with the fork and when I put it in my mouth that over the fender tender bender brisket melted in my mouth. I literally had a tear in my eye. I never in my life tasted brisket so delicious. Then I dug in to the greens cornbread and baked beans, I started looking in the kitchen to see who's grandma they had back there whipping work. The greens tasted like they were straight from the lady you know at church that be making those boss to the sauce platters. My taste buds were in heaven. Then to make it even better my fiancé had a crab cake sandwich on a brioche bun. The picture it's self is all I have to say, so much crab and no filler. Then the jalapeño and apple cole slaw was hittin, had that sweet and spice with something nice. We decided to end our lunch with a sweet treat to eat. We asked the server what he recommend he told us the chocolate flourless torte with raspberry sauce. Very rich very decadent, it was what we needed to finish off this amazing lunch we had. Lunch only cost 45 dollars for all of this amazing food. That is on the low low cheap for this quality food. I will be back again baby! You better believe it and when I do brisket boo I'm coming for round too...
Read moreHad dinner here with 4 girlfriends since high school. We each ordered a different entree so we could "sample" several dishes. Our server was friendly, very efficient, and gave us excellent suggestions. The food came out quickly and very fresh and tasty! Everything was soooooo good. Shrimp and grits... 3 of us said the best we've ever tasted! Short ribs... out of this world tender and paired nicely with diced roots veggies, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms... VERY flavorful! The roasted chicken was good but not exceptional like the other dishes. Cajun meatloaf and Brussel sprouts was also superb! And I don't care for Brussel sprouts but these were roasted/ seasoned to perfection and the meatloaf seasoning wasn't overwhelming... it had just the right amount of kick. Lastly, the Pork Schnitzel... I've never had pork schnitzel so I have nothing to compare it to but my friend enjoyed it and the red cabbage. She said it was pretty good for not being a German restaurant. I thought is was a little dry and chewy but I don't know if that's what it's supposed to be like. It tasted good but I don't think I'd order it for myself. We will DEFINITELY be back. I have never opened a restaurant's website for the sole purpose of writing a review but this place truly deserved my accolades! I should also add that the adult beverages were good but they were a bit pricey (mixed drinks only), but not enough to take a star away from the 5 stars as for me, it's more about the food's taste than the prices of the drinks. Oh... one last thing... while we didn't have any of their salads, we watched them being served to others and they look really good, too! Maybe next...
Read moreDo you like overpaying for half cooked blah food served by mediocre staff at this price point? Well this is the spot for you! Where shall we start? $7 gets you 2 pretzels with âbeer cheeseâ oddly reminiscent of watered down crab soup. Yet you could add 2 pretzels to a entree for $2? Interesting!!!! So $5 for a âbeer cheeseâ ? Donât recommend. How about that fried cheese? Passable yet donât be surprised when you ask whereâs the marinara. Itâs packed with your Cuban sandwich! Duh! I should have known better. Would you like barely warm chicken tenders with cold in the middle half cooked fries drenched in salt for your KIDS? Donât worry, youâll be able to hit the McDonaldâs across the street for a more nutritious and edible meal. Our dog wouldnât eat it when we got home. And the âCubanâ⊠where lol đ? Oh that? Thatâs your Cuban? Yeesh. Oh did you have a question for the staff? Godspeed with that. People at Applebees are more professional in every sense and your money will go father and better there. They at least care if your food looks like someone microwaves it and went eh? Whatever. Lesson learned. Impressive menu.. cannot back it up with any chef or staff expertise. This is high priced garbage. This was a takeout order we intended to eat in the car with our immune compromised child after a doctor visit....
