Bassett Furniture — Local services in Reno

We had been searching for the right couch for weeks. We had tried online but just were hesitant to buy couch that we didn't try out first. I swear we went to every furniture shop in our area and only found things that were just okay. Or if we found something we liked it was way out of our price range. When we went into Bassett we liked some of the styles but then we turned a corner and found our dream couch. We have an eclectic style and had never owned a couch that had more of a modern look to it. But previously every one that we tried was horribly uncomfortable. This one that we found at Bassett was very comfortable and it was the exact look we were searching for. We were almost afraid to ask how much it was. When we went back to the salesperson who initially talked to us when we got there, she looked it up and told us a price and we were pleasantly surprised that it was in our budget. It was at the top end of our budget but the nice thing was they had their Black Friday sale going on so it brought it down a lot and made it very manageable for us. Rude sales staff. We were visiting family in the area and came across this Bassett store and decided to stop in since we had been talking about replacing our old Bassett sofa & loveseat. Just because we didn't live within their "delivery zone" they felt they didn't want to waste their time assisting us. We know this because we clearly overheard them talking about it while we were in the store. What's worse is that they weren't even trying to be descreet! How difficult is it to coordinate an order to be delivered in another location (approx. 5 hrs away), even if they have to contact another store location to assist? NO desire to consider...

We ordered the Bella Rectangular Cocktail table over the phone with Amber James, who was very helpful. It will match the other three Bella pieces we bought several years back. We want to avoid the delivery fee so we’ll drive to Reno, Nv to pick it up. Amber assured me they’ll open and inspect our coffee table before she calls us to come pick it up (a four hour drive)!
