The Human Bean — Restaurant in Reno

The order was completely wrong, and the service was unprofessional. We had placed an order the other day for drinks (which none of them were complicated, and most were the same drink) and a breakfast sandwich. We were then informed by the deliverer that the barista was busy and refused to make the sandwich; she stated that she had already turned off the oven and would not turn it back on since they were almost closing. She then proceeded to have an attitude with the driver and told him "well she can just call in the morning tomorrow and make a complaint about the order." I get that it can be overwhelming when there are multiple orders, but there is no reason to be rude or unprofessional. When the driver showed up, we noticed that there was even a drink missing! I had stated several times on my order that if there was an issue to CALL ME. She never once called me, and when I attempted to call, no one would answer the phone. I attempted to call for the manager and still no answer. This place is completely unprofessional, and this is the SECOND time I have had an issue. I will not return again. I tried to give this place a second chance after they messed up the first order, and was proven once again that simple orders cannot apparently be followed. I am very disappointed in...

I think the caffeine in general is pretty good, but one of the girls who works there didnt even really know their own menu and or prices. Speaking of prices, I also think its a bit overpriced and the rewards app is a disaster to say the least with all things considering the girl who did make my order couldnt figure out how to give me my reward on a double reward day.

Im very disappointed by this company, and truthfully, if the caffeine wasnt good (I like their brights) to an extent - although they are super pricey, with it being 5.75 - and the fact I get a free coffee for my birthday, I wouldnt bother coming here vs other venues that are far superior - including Starbucks, which I consider the low end of the coffee location spectrum. Its sad really, this place doesnt even having a place to sit inside, so idk why they cant hire better employees, or better devs, or hell, their rewards are terrible with 4 bean per dollar used and only rewards after 100 beans (1$ off, lol).

On the plus side, I do think the quality is good, but the price just doesnt match and when you have average customer service with no real place to sit down, you wonder, why not go...

For ownership, raising prices 30%+ overnight doesn't go un-noticed. I've gone to human bean for many years for coffee before work. I usually get a small brewed coffee. A few years ago, that order was around $1.50. Yesterday, it was $2.50 or so, and I get it, Covid caused lots of service based inflation. That same order is as of today $3.50. That's a 200%+ jump in less than 5 years, and around a 30% jump over the past 24hrs. I checked with the barista that my order was not typed incorrectly, she read back "one small brewed coffee"... It sucks, but I cannot go here anymore. I can't justify $3.50 for a small brewed coffee, it's an...
