Bought 3 quarts of paint from the store. By the time I got home, the lid was off one of the cans and paint was all over my backseat. Management never I apologized when I called and got an attitude with me like I was at fault. Cameralita and Diekueia Bowen (front end manager) had the worst attitudes and the only option was to fill out an Incident Report. Again, no apology. No reference to replacing the spilled paint. Oh, and i was offered no way to carry 3 quarts of paint (box or bag) aside from carrying it back to the front of the store and my car. When I told Carmelita I was told they had no bags in the back pick up area, she told me I should have checked in the front for a nag. Again, like it's my fault the lid was not secured to begin with. When I asked what was the purpose of the incident report, I was told by Carmelita (who I was led to believe was a manager) she "didn't know." Poor customer service is why big box stores are going out of business. I will NOT be shopping at my local Menards any longer. And the 12 cans of paint I bought from Home Depot, the SAME day, all managed NOT TO SPILL. If i could rate this entire experience a zero, I would. I now have to follow up with Shedrick Smith (supposed store manager tomorrow.) I was never given a time that he would be available, just "to call...
Read moreThis was my goto store. I love the people there, however the products need to have a way to leave reviews on the site. So when many customers have a bad experience on a product, it can be displayed to stop guys like myself from making a purchase on something that has been bad for many. I purchased a 10x13 back yard creations gazebo and that thing only lasted three months. I have been trying for ten months to work with the vendor to get this resolved. I looked for an 800 for Menards customer service. The store is trained to send you to the vendor. I bet you $1000 that if Menards allowed customer reviews on their site. The vendors will be a little more helpful. However, they have no recourse. So it’s a mendards customer that’s left with a bad taste. I came to Menards for all my new home needs because my wife liked the store better than the other. I will be shopping with the others moving forward if my unit isn’t replaced or at least get that bad parts from an instore unit. Very...
Read moreThe customer service here is absolute trash. Took an hour and a half just to get carpet. They had one person working in the carpet department, did not even acknowledge us or that it would be a few minutes due to helping another customer and eventually disappearing to the front. When another employee came to the area we asked him if there was anyone else in the store who could help us since it had already been 30 minutes. .he very shortly replied no. Another 20 minutes went by before someone else came over and finally helped us. When the first person returned again, she barley spoke words to us. Even the cashier at the front barley said 2 words to us. Something that could have and should have been a short easy trip turned into a waste of...
