Brides BEWARE!! If I could give Sheena Marie a -5 I would! I booked Sheena for my August 18, 2019 wedding. As you may know she is extremely high, but I chose to go with her because I loved they way she did my bridal consultation makeup. At my consultation she guaranteed me that she’ll be at my location to do my wedding makeup. I signed the contract and paid her high a* fees. So the day of my WEDDING two makeup artist shows up at my location to do my bridesmaids makeup. The hairstylist was there to do my hair. As my hair was getting done, I asked the makeup artists what time was Sheena coming to do MY makeup. They replied by saying, “oh, she sent us. (Then the young one who looked about 17-18 years old said, I’m doing your makeup). They said, Sheena couldn’t make it bc she had a business conflict and she’s in New York.” I went off!!!!!!! How does a “professional” business woman operate in this manner?! I was NEVER informed that she WASN’T doing my makeup! She didn’t even have the decency to let ME chose an alternative mua! Hell, I paid $300 for HER to do my makeup...not an 18 year girl who was asking the the other mua how to apply makeup! After calling Sheena’s phone to get an explanation or at least a d*n apology, she didn’t answer! So I texted her and told her exactly how unprofessional she was and my 100% dissatisfaction! For crying out loud, it was my WEDDING DAY! Soon after, one of her workers TEXTED me claiming they forgot to inform me of time conflict and that I would get my deposit refunded. This was on 08/18/19, as of today...10/21/19 I have yet to receive any refund! I’ve called, texted and called again several times! Nothing! My advice for ALL brides is to think twice before booking this unprofessional, overpriced, unreliable company for your SPECIAL DAY! I wish I had...as if a bride doesn’t have enough to worry about! I’m still angry because I have yet to receive a simple apology...

My experience at Sheena Marie beauty was amazing! From the moment I walked in the service was top tier. The front desk manager greeted me and briefly explained the service in which I was getting, which was micro blading. She numbed my brows, and got me a bottle of water while I waited for the numbing cream to activate. the decor and ambiance and was beautiful . After about 35 minutes, I then was greeted by Zee— who was such a sweetie pie btw— who did my brow mapping. She was amazing! She asked questions, looked at photos how I normally wear my brows, and talked me through the whole process. She made certain my brows were even, and mostly importantly that I LOVED them. Next, Sheena greeted me and led me to the back where she would perform my service. She was super bubbly and sweet as well! She explained the process before she began and all throughout. She made sure I was comfortable, and when I did begin to feel a bit of discomfort, she stopped and made sure I was numb enough to continue. Once she was finished, I had one tiny concern, and without a blink of an eye she fixed the issue with no problem. I absolutely LOVE my brows , and this is only my first session. I was referred to this establishment 6 years ago for makeup service. I absolutely loved my face and I continued to come back for service. I decided to take the offered makeup course last October to develop my skill. Z was the educator makeup artist for the 2 day course. Z has a great welcoming personality, I absolutely adored her. However, a few things didn't seem right to me. Such as the class not being held at the given location, the time guaranteed was shortened, no material kit, and no completion certificate as advertised/promised. The certificate was inportant to me because I'm a licensed Cosmetologist and it requires me to get Continue Education (CE) hours. I spoke with both Z and the owner Sheena and was guaranteed the certificate. Almost a year later and I still haven't received it. It's very disappointing as a professional. A professional is supposed to hold up their end of the bargain. I'm not sure the problem because as a customer I paid the asking cost of service without any issue. I'm thinking that their establishment is not a licensed school. Maybe they'll get in trouble if the hours are sent to the state for complied hours.
