ALDI — Local services in Richfield

I haven't shopped at ALDI'S in the suburb. But this was my first stop last Sunday 03/14/21 morning. Me and my team were working on food shelf to give food away for the underserve community kids. So we were close to this location, we went inside the store there were full of eggs over 4 shelf of eggs sitting behind, so we asked if we could buy 1 shelf. We were questioned why are we buying that many eggs? which was odd, we did advised them what we intended to do. After he said okay, he said he need to get a permission from his manger. Then the manger came and refused us to sale. He said, If we needed it he could order for us and pick up after 2 days. I don't think those kids we serving will like to hear. We told him there is so many eggs there to buy we were confused why they refusing to sale it to us and we left to AlDI'S on Franklin Ave in South Minneapolis. They sold us to with no problem or questioned to be asked. We need more diverse workers at ALDI'S we didn't see any minority or diverse people working at the Bloomington location. Very disappointed at ALDI'S. Underserved kids and saying no to them for a good cause,...

This is one of the better Aldi's around both in size...and...selection. The store is always clean...employees friendly and helpful. Lines move quickly also. The location is very convenient. Over the past few months...I've noticed several of my 'go to' items have been sold out often [coffee creamer/sour cream/eggs/string cheese] and some seem as though they aren't being reordered at all...like the fruit/grain bars...which have been out of stock for months. I understand supply shortages but...it still creates an inconvenience. [This is the reason for a four star review...versus a five star one.] We will always return here for our particular favorites as they are considerably cheaper than their name brand counterparts. I also appreciate that Aldi appears to be a very decent employer from posted instore jobs/wages...to listed employee benefits. I hope other companies follow their standard on...

Unfortunately at this location a unwarranted attack happened on a black woman while she was trying to shop she was approached by a white male who with no reason Or without warning pushed her cart over and was basically about to assault this woman. The manager and an assistant were both made aware of the situation the manager unfortunately was overly aggressive towards the victim and sympathetic towards the aggressor. The woman left the store trembling while the attacker and his partner went onto shopping without being asked to leave the store. Hopefully the woman is ok and the manager get more education on how to deal with situations like this if it were to...
