This was really disappointing. I’ve been looking forward to trying this place and decided to go for my birthday. We ordered the crab nachos to start. It’s cold crab on house made potato chips with a warm crab mornay sauce and a cold corn relish. It was confusing in temperature and too sweet. We still ate most of them but they were mediocre at best. I ordered the duck and my husband got the “ribs”. Notice the pictures I posted. See any ribs? Well, it’s that patty looking thing there next to the rectangular bean cakes. I don’t know what this mess was. The texture of ribs being pulled off the bone and then formed into a patty is SO off-putting. Those bean things are marketed as fries. They are not. They are cake. They are bad. Then there was my duck that was so drowned in orange I couldn’t even taste the duck. I ate TWO slices, one to try it and one to make sure I wasn’t crazy and that, in fact, the food is just bad. These are pictures of our plates that I took just before they were taken back to the kitchen. Both plates nearly untouched. I probably wouldn’t have said anything online because I REALLY want new businesses to come to this town and to THRIVE, but the food was awful and when it came time to pay I was handed a totally unadjusted bill and had to ask for the manager who then only took off the “ribs”. We paid, left and will...

Gibsonia does not deserve this place. Okay…MAYBE it does…but seriously what a standard to set for new restaurants in the area! Our second visit followed a stressful day and was unplanned and last minute but the friendly staff got us seated no problem. Today was “Wine Down Wednesday” with special bottles of wine. Cocktails feature local distilleries. Mocktails also available. The food was fabulous, again. We got the a crunchy peanut shrimp with glass noodles and peppers and deliciousness appetizer. Braised lamb entree for me and the today’s special chicken entree for my wife. That chicken……..Thomas Keller, beware! It was ecstasy! Our first visit we had the delicious deep fried egg special appetizer, perfect salmon entree and the special pork tenderloin entree. Prices are worth every penny. Their ice cream is home made, the desserts look fabulous…and they have after dinner cocktails. Their ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere make for a memorable experience. Bar seating available most nights. Call for reservations. There are Gluten Free and Vegetarian menu labels, not sure about the GF kitchen. Stop waiting….Free up an evening for...

Take your tastebuds on a delicious journey! I called a week before for a reservation and my Hubby wasnt wanting to go out,i called back, canceled. The next week( after threatening Hubby ) we tried again. The person who took my call, remembered me! Greeted us so warmly and made a joke to my Hubs. We had a leisurely supper, starting with cocktails. My Hubs loved his cocktail so much! He had 3! Very rare( dont worry,I drove) it was a Purple Rain. Next we got the spicy Tuna potato roll! Unbelievable crispy outside, creamy inside. Great flavours! A grilled Cesar Salad followed! Yes,get the anchovies! Next a horse radish potato crusted salmon... could...not...stop...eating it!( I usually just eat half an entre) I cant put into writing all of the delicious flavours in everyghing! Lets just say,I have never seen Hubs soooo happy with a meal. He said numerous times,Thanks for making me come here!! I loved everything! We can't wait...

Absolutely fantastic. The red cabbage soup with dill and sour creme was spectacular. The fire roasted Eichner's chicken was absolutely fantastic. An explosion of flavors not seen around this area. The food presentation is fenomenal and elegant. Food temperature and moist is perfect and a blend of flavours and taste lingers in your palate for a good while. The selection of wines an crafty cocktails go along perfectly with the Entrees.Nice selections of spanish wines.. Desserts are rich and warm. The Pear Almond Tart was perfectly cooked and warmed. The baked Alaska with the oven toasted merengue reveals a nice vanilla icecream in its core. Highly recommended.. Make sure to stop by and say Hi to owner and very talented Chef Eric. Wonderful experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, .i'lll rate this a 20. Hands down the best in the area. 5 stars Haute Cuisine.
