Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend

I had a very disappointing experience with this alterations shop. I brought in a bridesmaid dress with specific alterations that I needed completed before flying out of town for a wedding. I paid for all the requested adjustments upfront. Unfortunately, when I picked up the dress, not all of the alterations had been done.

Due to my travel schedule for the wedding, I didn’t have time to return and have it corrected before my flight. By the time I came back in town and followed up, they refused to fix the incomplete work, citing that too much time had passed—even though the only reason for the delay was that I was away for the wedding the dress was for.

I paid for services that were not fully provided and was offered no resolution, which is extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this place, especially if you're on a timeline or expect accountability for...

I can't thank Jinny & her team at Peace Alterations enough. I'm coming from Hinesville & no one was available to complete alterations and a bustle for my upcoming wedding in a 2 week period (yes i understand it was short notice). But Jinny and her team made it happen in the blink of an eye. Their location was very easy to find, they answer when you call and it's clean. I called beforehand to make sure they can do the alterations and when i arrived they welcomed me with no issues. Jinny recommended some ideas and overall I was so thankful & felt such a weight lifted off of my shoulders.

I called in a panic to get a dress for a wedding altered. No one in my town is open on Saturday so I tried looking up a seamstress near me. Google pointed out a few and I called Peace Alterations on Ford Road in Richmond Hill. Ms. Jeanie called me back a few minutes after the scheduled opening and made herself available to help. We drove up and she greeted us immediately when we walked in the store. Worship music was playing and the store was comfortable instead of stuffy (past places experience).
