My Mom, big Sister and I have shopped at Esmond's for years!! We 3 have "skinny" feet. I recently stopped in on my way out of Richmond. I really needed tennis shoes that felt wonderful! I mentioned that my old tennis shoes had Alzheimer's.....as in lost their memory!!! 😁 You know, that memory foam inside. And other things. Walt Jr's daughter waited on me. She examined my foot, left, and told me more than my old foot Dr.! She had me try 2 pairs, different makes. The first was unbelievable.....like heaven. I appreciate that Esmond's has served Richmond for so many years. But I would caution that one of the staff insists on fitting customers in shoes longer than they need. I have worn a 7 1/2 or 8 all my life. She insisted I needed a 9. I have been wearing them for a couple years, though it took me a while to not trip over my toes. Recently I found the exact same style shoe at a thrift store in a size 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly and feel much better than the size 9. The same thing happened to my dad - she sold him a size 12 when he had always worn an 11 before. The size 12 slipped off his heels and we ended up...
