4/19/22 - 15:55 - Just got back from the car wash, which I tried to use but there was a sort of glitch in the system that made it impossible to complete the transaction. After the truck ahead of me had pulled into the bay, I pulled up to the kiosk and the 'speaker' said 'the carwash is ready' but that was not true because the truck had just pulled in. So I waited a minute for the unit to reset and when it asked to select a package I picked '9' and inserted a $10 bill. Then it asked me again to pick a package and I entered '9'again. Then it asked me to insert the money, hoping the system would recognize the $10 I had already inserted. When it didn't, I backed out of the facility and drove home in my dirty car to contact you. My fiancé and I have been going here for years since we moved to Richmond, and always loved it and raved about it. It is well maintained, but recently they changed the auto wash. Now it doesn’t rinse all the soap off, and isn’t as high pressured as before. I thought it was just a fluke the one time, but when I went the next time, again I was left with soap on it. Mentioned it to my fiancé and he said he noticed the same. It used to do a high pressure rinse before the low pressure rinse and now it doesn’t, and so it leaves soap on it. Best no touch car wash around. I've been to everything in metro Detroit and this is by far the best! Everytime I come up here I always get a car wash. It's very thorough, powerful, and doesn't skimp out on soft power washers, lack of soap, etc... gets my truck looking pretty!:) I wish they sold yearly packages and used NFC technology. For example you pay a yearly amount for a package. You can use a NFC device to scan, or perhaps even a card that can be swiped and you can proceed with the car wash.
