A couple of years ago, we ordered a quarter beef from K&R, and I can't recommend it enough. The quality of the beef, the outstanding customer service from the owners, and the smooth ordering and delivery process were all excellent. It was, without a doubt, the best beef we’ve had in years. While we couldn't select our cuts for that order, we received a fantastic variety, including some great ground beef. The ground beef was as lean as the 92/8 options from the supermarket (though I can’t speak to the exact fat content—this is just my observation from cooking). K&R Farms has brought life back into my eating! I’ve looked for farm raised meats and have truly tried several. But nothing can beat the fresh butcher cuts of K&R Farms! They take time to find the best butchers that process their meat to get the most out of the flavor! They are family owned and care for the cows, pigs, and lambs that they raise. Kyle and the family provide great meat and great service. Love that they're at the market and also have a storefront now. Win, win! The lamb is a favorite but it's hard to pick the best product because we say it about each thing we buy from K&R. Stewmeats are great, bones for bone broth, pork chops, ribs, leg of lamb, lamb chops - the list goes on! Also, love seeing where the animals are raised and cared for....
