It’s honestly upsetting to see how quick people are to tear someone down over a single moment without knowing the full story. That chef was clearly working hard, probably under pressure like most kitchen staff are, and had to make a quick decision. So he put a tray on the floor—does that really cancel out all his skill, effort, and the quality of the food he’s been serving every day? Kitchens are fast-paced environments, and sometimes people do what they can to keep things moving. That one clip doesn’t show his intentions, the hygiene practices in place, or the circumstances. But now people are flooding his restaurant’s reviews with hate, potentially ruining his livelihood over a mistake? That’s not right. We’ve all messed up at work before—imagine if someone recorded your worst moment and tried to define your entire career by it. stop trying to 'cancel' people for being human. What’s really disappointing isn’t even the chef putting the tray on the floor, it’s the way people are acting like vultures in the comments. You’re all so quick to judge, dropping 1-star reviews and hate like you’ve never made a mistake in your life. Seriously? One video, out of context, and now it’s okay to try and ruin someone’s reputation and their entire business? That man is a human being, doing a tough job under pressure, probably during a busy shift, and instead of compassion, people are acting like they’re perfect angels. The internet has made it way too easy for people to sit behind a screen and throw hate without thinking about the real-life consequences. This isn't constructive criticism, it's bullying. Grow up and think twice before jumping on a hate train just to feel included. He deserves respect, not cancellation...
Read moreFood Fun Adventure Saturday took Fat Man Reviews first to Masala Fine Indian Cuisine in Richmond, KY. Masala serves traditional Indian recipes in a remodeled gas station.
Papadum, lightly spiced lentil wafers, with onion and mint chutney are served first. The wafers were crisp and airy while the chutneys were fresh, bright and tasty.
I started with a bowl of Mulligatawny Soup. This is a soup made of lentil purée and carrots in a hot broth topped with fresh herbs. The soup was delicate, slightly spicy and the herbs added a brightness to the dish. Also, this is Batman's favorite soup.
My fiancé had Allu Tikki Chat. This is made with pan fried potatoes, fresh onions, tomatoes, cilantro and chick peas, then topped with a plum sauce. The dish is sweet, salty, fresh, crunchy and it just all works well together.
I had the Chicken Vindaloo which is served with jasmine rice, and we ordered garlic naan. The vindaloo is chicken and potatoes cooked in a tangy hot sauce. The chicken and potatoes were tender and seasoned well, but the sauce is what makes this dish. Spiced well, it is rich, thick and creamy. I could have just had the sauce by itself. The only knock was I ordered it hot, but it was served mild. The garlic naan was fresh and chewy, but a few pieces were a bit crispy and slightly over done.
Masala Fine Indian Cuisine serves a large variety of Indian dishes. Most if not all can be made with chicken, lamb, goat, seafood or vegetarian. They also offer several rice delicacies, Indian breads and a few desserts. You can have your dish made mild, medium, hot or Indian hot. Masala Fine Indian Cuisine is Fat...
Read moreLet’s talk about what’s really not okay here, the amount of hate this chef is getting over ONE moment caught on camera. People are acting like he committed some horrible crime, when in reality, he put a tray on the floor. Was it the best decision? Maybe not. But you know what? Mistakes happen. Especially in high-pressure kitchens where everything is moving fast and you're trying to juggle ten things at once. That one tray doesn’t make him a bad chef, a bad person, or someone who deserves to have his name dragged through the mud. But what’s worse is the reaction, people leaving nasty comments, mocking him, and even going to the restaurant’s Google reviews to leave 1-star ratings? That’s beyond petty. That’s straight-up toxic. You’re not giving feedback, you're trying to destroy someone’s livelihood over a moment you saw for five seconds on TikTok. Where’s the empathy? Would you want your whole career judged over your worst moment? Would you want strangers trying to ruin your job over something you did under pressure? The internet makes people feel bold, but let’s not forget there’s a real human being on the other side of that screen. Someone who probably works long hours, cares about the food he serves, and is now being torn down by people who don’t know a thing about what it's like to be in his shoes. It’s easy to throw hate when it’s not your name, your job, or your face being criticized. How about we do better? Show some respect, show some maturity, and stop piling on someone who didn’t...
