I went to this location on the Eastern bypass yesterday with my two grandchildren. We ordered two Sundaes and a chocolate dipped cone. I took the two kids to the booth and got them settled while she was making the cone, when I went back to the counter to get the cone it was sitting on the counter but there was a Dairy Queen employee placing an order with her face right at the ice cream cone. If you've been there you know how the counter is sort of high and she had stepped up to the counter placing her order with my ice cream cone right in her face! She never moved to either side and when I asked her please let me get that out of the way before she breathe all over it, she went berserk! She said I am not breathing on it! And I said yes you are it's right in your face! And she said well you should have been up here to get it before I got here! Keep in mind now this is a Dairy Queen employee. I ask for the manager and she pointed to the girl making the ice cream. I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders as if asking what are going to do about this and she, the "Manager" said, she's off the clock, I can't do anything. The employee that was off the clock just kept mouthing, saying she was a customer just like I was, and told her she was a very rude one at that. If I hadn't had my grandchildren with me I probably would have ended up in jail! These restaurants hire these kids to run the place when most of them have no respect for anyone or have no idea what customer service is. It's no wonder we have hepatitis A running through the town like wildfire either. Where was her common sense at? It's just common sense to know that you don't breathe on people's food especially if you're an employee of a restaurant. This really just blew my mind at the lack of respect or care for that matter. Now the guy that took my order was very nice and place looked clean. But my experience with the two female employees was less than acceptable. I will go to Culver's from now on for...
Read moreMy sister & I are HUGE ice cream fans... her favorite is definitely the Drumstick Blizzard at Dairy Queen. We had a "sisters day" about week & half ago so of course I treated her to her favorite ice cream. (Brownie points for me đââď¸, lol) ... until we pull forward to the 2nd window to get our ice cream AND ... the employee reaches BOTH her arms out at same time handing me our ice cream cups ..(with NO spoons) -there was no flipping it upside down or free blizzard the next time either- ... there was actually hardly even ice cream in our cups, it was melted, watery looking & running all the way down & around both of our cups & onto my front seats as well as our legs.. đ¤đłđ the dairy queen employee literally handed me both of our cups & window closed... the girl never said hello,, good bye,, is there anything else I can get you,, she NEVER told us AND we we're Honestly clueless about what was in the cups she had just handed me... it absolutely does NOT look like EXTREME BROWNIE EARTHQUAKE OR DRUMSTICK W/EXTRA DRUMSTICK .... of course we were both trying to holler & grab her attention (while still sitting in drive thru) as she pops the window back open & stares at both of us - - we ask her what she just gave us while holding both cups up at her,, she says hold on, goes to ask her co worker & a couple (3-4) more minutes passed by where I choose to just drive off & talk to someone later - the drive-thru was packed as usual at this one on Eastern bypass. I actually have not went back to...
Read moreI was disgusted at the service I received today at the one in town. I went in there with my dad, we werenât greeted. There was a line of customers and the employees were ignoring them just talking. Then once we order, we were told the soda machine didnât work(which was a lie). I received our meals, my sandwich was wrong and they didnât give my dad his fries. I proceeded to back to the front, they agreed to fix it. I watched as all the employees just lolly gagged around, they finely got to the point of correcting my order. Once I got back to my table it was still wrong. I only order a double bacon cheeseburger plain people, itâs not that hard, bun, burger, cheese, bacon, repeat and your done. First they gave me no cheese. The second time they gave me no bacon. I was to the point I went up there, I told them I wasnât waiting another five minutes for them to sit there with their balls in their hands and not give me my correct order. I just simply asked them to give me the bacon and Iâll correct it myself. After choking my meal down, because I refused to pay for a drink and only get water. An elderly man went to the soda machine and worked, as the employees lied about the machine not working. I was beyond pissed at that point. The employees lied, were rude and not even doing their jobs. I will never go back to that Dairy Queen again. Take my advice and go to the one by the interstate, it is a...
