Firstly, I never write reviews and have been sitting with this for a few months. Im a VERY loyal customer, however this is not the first time i have run into this issue with Nanin. I really really hope they improve bc this is a bummer.
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH NA NIN'S IN HOUSE CLOTHING. Be very prepared for the possibility of needing to return asap. Quality control is severely lacking. Customer service experience does not match the store's price point either. I'd go to Forever21 if I was yearning this kind of experience.
The issue: I tried to exchange a pair of faulty Townes Trousers past the incredibly short 2 week return/exchange window. The pants were abnormally short and one leg was shorter than the other. I brought them to the store, finally accepting something was off about them after trying to make them work for too long, and presented my issue to a sales associate (already feeling embarrassed about it). I was met with an "uh oh" that translated to "this is going to be inconvenient". They took my pants back and examined them and it was confirmed that it was a factory error, aka: their fault. No biggie, but this is not the first faulty clothing item i have received from them.
However, although i was given a pair of faulty pants, they said the best they could do is give me a whopping 20% off a new pair ($200 pants) because the exchange time period has passed. I accepted it with no complaints, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily for me, i had to pay for shipping so.... basically the discount covered shipping cost for the new pair (im officially $400 out on technically one pair of wearable pants).
So, basically they have a really great system for keeping customers money while relinquishing any true responsibility for the quality of their product. Again, please exhibit caution when buying from their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNa nin is my favorite Richmond hidden gem spot. Grab a coffee at lamplight and head across the street to pop into na nin and see their gorgeous in-house collection of thoughtfully made garments for men and women, and my favorite candles of all time. They also have an awesome collection of clean skincare, scents, and all sorts of treat-yourself goodies. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry and feature local artists like an emily wicks pottery collaboration collection. They merchandise their store so well and Iāve discovered so many of my new favorite brands and pieces through them. You can always find a gift for yourself or someone here. The staff are so so kind and helpful. Highly recommend stopping by! Check them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is about the quality of the Na Nin brand. I spent nearly $200 on a pair of Townes trousers and they are of such poor quality Iāll honestly throw them away.
I just found them in my closet and was so aggravated at the quality that I came to write a review even though itās been a long time since my purchase. The sewing is terrible, the hemming uneven, no lining at all which is unheard of in a pair of luxury trousers. The button holes are crooked and unfinished. The fabric wrinkles awfully.
I wouldnāt pay $20 for these pants and I wish I wouldāve returned them within the time limit but I missed it. Just a warning to those thinking of purchasing such expensive clothing and expecting...
