*EDIT: beware the owner will go straight for your throat in response to your personal honest review about your experience.* (This is in regards to SplatterRVA not the rage rooms) This was overall a nice, fun experience that I would recommend to friends & family to try out at least once! 3 stars because: I came here for my birthday with a group of 8 friends, 2 of whom were coming in from out of town and let me know they were running late. I informed the staff and they barely acknowledged me and made themselves fairly scarce until we had all filled out the waiver. The friends being late did not seem to be a problem as I had been open with them about it and did not receive any response or further explanation. We got prepped and were in the room when I received a text from the 2 friends that they had gotten there, but would not even be allowed to come up to say hi since we were already 'In Session' (for about 15min out of the 25min allotted time). Disappointing, but not a huge huge deal. After the session I did ask one of the staff members about a potential refund for the $50 since the friends did not use the materials that the price covers. I received a card with a number and was told to call later the next week. I called twice as well as emailed twice, but did not hear back. I felt they were intentionally not getting back to me due to the nature of my request; I got fed up, so my mom decided to help me out and called to leave a slightly more direct/firm message about a potential bad review and I heard back within 20 minutes. I did end up getting a gift card to use on their website for the amount, but am fairly annoyed I could not just get my money back to use better elsewhere. I do appreciate what this company is trying to do and respect the trials of a small business, however, there was just something sort of "off" about the attitude of the staff & the experience overall.

Went here for my daughters birthday. We had booked for a car smashing which required us to have 5 people. I called ahead to make sure we were all set & to confirm the safety gear. They assured me that they had eye protective masks, heavy duty gloves and full suits. When we arrived it was very chaotic. When it was finally out turn, girls were fitted for suits and all were gloves. (They were merely gardening gloves … with holes). Suits were not much better - most wore very worn and ripped. Non the less.. we proceeded forward. Girls were told to pick a weapon & to get the playlist rolling. The car we were set up with was already completely destroyed. They said tires and bumpers were off limits … but they could hit anything else. There was no windows left ( a busted windshield ) … seriously a drag. Especially since we paid close to $330 for this 20 min. Event. Ugh ! There were glass flying over the walls from the people 1 bay over. It was EXTREMELY loud , considering entire place was a concrete hole. Not impressed at all. No parking either. I had to park illegally and hope my car was still there when I returned. I was observing the girls. They were really bummed and the only gift we left with migraines. Had to make a stop on the way home for meds. Girls were finding glass in their shoes and we only had a few with cuts on their hands from glass shards. Never again. Not recommended. Idea sounds intriguing; but reality is way different. You would be better off beating up your own trash - at least you wouldn’t have to pay for that !!

READ! One the positive the amount of glass was well satisfactory however my party and I were very limited in the amount of destructiveness we could apply. fitted in the room with the car— car being off limits taking up majority of room space given that they said please aim glass destructibles at only 1/2 of a single wall that was hard to have more than 1 person between the other walls and the car. Everything else such as electronics had to beat on the floor. You cannot throw the electronics even on the floor. We did expend two warning and was dismissed early for throwing the back board of a tv to another electronic and the other one was thrown on the floor and our session was cut short. Extra: the rage room felt like an organized venue with the given limitations, a gentlemans breaking. Much money spent on a last minute reschedule fee, and the initial general pricing had me actually infuriated which made me more excited to do the rage room. 10/10 rage baited from the business than actual life problems. The staff was an average polite. Everyone else’s negative comment was accurate and acceptable. You can have a better time anywhere else. Last positive is that you can play your own music but i would not recommend this based on my experience, respectfully.

You guys I was about to cry myself home. For my bday, I originally signed up for the rage room for 10mins and splatter paint for 25mins. I drove over an hr to get to Rage RVA and I was so excited to get there. When I got there with 8mins to spare, NO parking insight...I literally spent my whole first appointment looking for parking. I called and a lady picked up basically saying there was nothing you can do cause they were booked.

BOYYY, when I tell you I was IRATE!!! When I got inside, I was greeted by Nicole who directed me to the areas to get dress, all while steam is boiling out of my ears lol. Before Nicole sent me to my next appt (splatter paint) she said she would give me a coupon so I can come back. And although that was really sweet, I was just thinking about that long drive back.

I went into my splatter paint session and I could not enjoy it because I was so upset that I missed my appointment. I almost sat my butt in the paint and just cried. I actually left my splatter paint session early, I have 16mins left but I just couldn't get over it.

When I came out of my splatter paint session, Nicole told me to stand by as she was working to fit me into one of the Rage sessions. And she most certainly did. I was able to get my 10mins of rage out!!! I was so appreciative of her, I could not thank her enough....I did end up shedding a tear when I got to my car. Thank you again Nicole!!

I am giving it 4 stars because the splatter paint. They allow you to pick 3 colors which is fine but there is not a lot of paint in the bottles for a 25min session. Even though I left after 10mins, I doubt that paint would've lasted. I believe it is $3 for extra paint. Lastly, the room is covered in so much paint, it makes it hard to see your work.

I would certainly go...

This was a very disappointing experience. I read about the various packages they offered and picked the second most expensive in order to get the most items and time since this was for my daughter's birthday. In the description it said you got your pick of weapon, 30 breakable per person and one large item. When I booked I put in the notes that it was my daughter's 16th birthday. We arrived, got the gear on and then we're told to choose a bat. There was no variety of tools to choose from just a bat. Disappointment #1. They took us to a small room with a car in it which I got excited about because I thought maybe they had upgraded the package for my daughter's bday. I ask about this and was immediately told the car wasn't included (even though it took up almost the entire room) and we weren't permitted to touch it...Disappointment #2. I saw two small crates of brown glass bottles and three small computer monitors. That was it. Nothing more...Disappointment #3. I paid almost $200 for us to smash a few bottles and a computer monitor while making sure we didn't touch that very invasive car. There was hardly any room to do anything and we were done in 10 minutes max. Disappointment #4. My kids kept beating on remnants of the monitor to have something to do. When they came to let us out of the room I asked if they do anything for birthdays and was told no, nothing at all. They didn't even say Happy Birthday to my daughter. It was such a bad experience. I could have taken her out in our back yard and let her hit some glass bottles for much less money than what I paid for this. We drove over an hour to experience a very big disappointment. I highly do NOT...
