Omg!! This is really The True Gift Shop, FYI bring all your money! If you like weird, strange, unusual, never seen before type of things, witchcraft, crystals, bugs and creatures, you will be amazed by this store. The interior design is literally perfect, flowing together, giving a very pleasant vibration to the store. Feels like Feng Shui designed and it’s definitely working! So many things to choose from but like I said bring money!! I wouldn’t say the store expensive in fact fairly priced compared to what it’s offering but these type of things aren’t cheap on the same note. We had amazing experience, idk how many times we were wowing “ omg” .

By far my favourite place to go. If you're seeking spooky, morbid, macabre, or gothic, this is the place to go. The shop, though rather small is very well organized and visually appealing. The items there are a little high but then again, its kind of a niche market. R.i.p. is as far as i know the only oddity shop here in Richmond and its a damn good one. The inventory is usually a lot of animal specimens, wether it be dry preserved, fixed in formalin, preserved in acrylic or processed bones, however it is very diverse, the concentration of bones is diffused with a lot of larger items (caskets, cages), books, antique medical items, or religious items (ex. Old bibles, runes, tarot cards, amulets). Most of the mounted animals are not for sale, but very interesting and properly taken care of. The staff is very nice and helpful when it comes to looking for specific items and they are very sociable and easy to talk to if you feel like sparking up a conversation regarding oddities and...

Justin provides amazing, quality taxidermy work at affordable prices accompanied by exceptional customer service. He stayed in constant communication with me, walking me through the entire process to ensure I received the desired results for preserving my sweet baby Raja (cat) past March. In addition to his taxidermy services, his store has such a unique Edgar Allen Poe/oddities vibe. I love shopping there when I need to stop by. Not even a year later, I found myself needing Justin's services again for my baby Ripley (JRT). Thankfully, I knew just who to call and made another trip from VA Beach. I wish I hadn't met Justin under such tragic circumstances, but I'm so incredibly grateful for the special services he provides.
