Saw a review on tiktok and had to try. Did not disappoint. Right off the rip greeting at the door was top tier. Everyone all smiles very inviting. Lots on the menu but I was there for the keylime cake. Not sure why the complaints about price versus size but its definitely worth it. My wife bakes and is damn good but serious skills detected in this slice. The perfect tart of lime that I thought was coming from the icing was the actual cake 10/10. Im not big on sugary sweetness and typically just eat the cake but the frosting was definitely a compliment not the star. My bday is coming up and I need a lemon cake stat. We recently tried Scharolina’s Cakes, and it was a mixed experience. The cinnamon roll was absolutely amazing—soft, rich, and perfectly spiced—easily the highlight of our visit. The cakes overall are moist and flavorful, which we appreciated.

However, we were very disappointed with the coconut cake, which was the main reason we drove an hour to visit. Instead of being a true coconut-forward dessert, it tasted more like a vanilla cake simply coated with toasted coconut, lacking the depth of flavor we were hoping for. To add to the letdown, the slice size didn’t feel worth the $11.99 price tag.

The cream cheese topping is light and moderately sweet, without overpowering the other flavors. Be mindful, as these are made to order.
