This place is fairly new, so I don't expect everything to be perfect, but the place wasn't quite what I expected. For starters I could not find a website, just a page to start an order. I ended up walking there and ordering from a kiosk, which is fine. The pricing borders on expensive for what you get in my opinion. I ordered a chicken bowl, which I believe was the cheapest option at $15. For what appears to be a takeout only place, the point of sale does request a tip. Upon receiving my order, my first impression was that the portion was not worth the price, but ultimately it was enough to fill me up. I got white rice rather than fried rice and there were some dry/crunchy grains in there. The chicken was a strange cut, roughly ping pong ball sized chunks. I got my order with yum yum sauce, dumped the sauce into the container, put the lid back on, shook it up, and ate. The meal was alright. I've had worse, and better. Finally I was hoping that for a place with beer in the name, the offerings available would be more varied/exotic/crafty, but what I found was a selection of fairly common/expected bottles and cans in a self serve cooler, for bar prices at that. This is a take out place with a convenience store one block away that sells 40oz bottles for cheaper than the 12oz bottles here. Overall, not a bad meal, a little pricey in my opinion. I'm not a fan of the format of the restaurant because everything is takeout and they use single use plastics for everything. The takeout bag, food container, plastic utensils, plastic sauce cups. I might eat here again in the future if I'm craving this style of food, because the place is in a good location, but improvements / growth are possible, and welcome.

I made my way to the Manchester area of Richmond, VA to tear up some hibachi at the Black owned Red Hibachi & Beer! When I walked in they were playing the good R&B classics so I already knew it was about to go down! That playlist was everything! They have a small area to eat in or you can get it to go. I decided to eat in so I can get my American Idol on haha! All of the hibachi entrees come with your choice of rice or noodles and one or two proteins and veggies. I had the steak & shrimp with fried rice, chicken with white rice and shrimp with noodles. I had shrimp and veggie spring rolls as well. It came out hot and fresh with a plethora of all the delicious sauces. The wasabi aioli was my favorite! Everything that graced my palate was delicious! The steak was nice and tender, the chicken was so moist and the shrimp were nice and plump! The veggies were perfectly cooked as well. The fried rice was bursting with eggs and lots of flavor! The noodles complimented the shrimp and veggies well. I can’t say enough how good this hibachi was y’all! I washed it all down with a cold canned adult beverage! My stomach was pleased!

Shout out to shordy who made the food.. She was cool. The food itself and the price point. It’s a no for me. I order the shrimp fried rice. Eggs do not come with it. And they didn’t have options for noddles. I believe I had teriyaki sauce on top.. it was a little too sweet for my liking. The portion size is crazy small. The rice wasn’t even filled to the top. You would have thought it was lunch time. I order like at 7 something. So I’m expecting dinner size.I would love to support on the regular. But I can’t with the price point and portion size. Oh yeah the food did look good tho..When they can tweak that, I’ll be in there more often. Ps: fill that damn drink refrigerator up. All there were was diet drinks.

Okay, so as another review stated, it's not the best, but it's not the worst. We went around 11a. on a Saturday after seeing it hyped on IG. When we arrived, there were two kiosks for ordering the employees. They really didn't say anything, but hi, when we arrived, but I guess the kiosks speak for themselves. So here's where it gets interesting... the prices are too high compared to what you get in a takeout container, I'm not sure who thought about making hibachi and was like NO EGG, it's not even an option to add but again not sure why I would have to IT'S HIBACHI FRIED RICE. I ordered 2 shrimp meals, one salmon meal, vegetable spring rolls (7.99/5), and one steak with fried rice, in totality about $74. They ran out of noodles, im assuming on another day because they JUST opened at 11a. But they did comp a soda for not having any noodles. Now let's get into the taste: steak....needed to be a little more tender and it was salty but not high blood pressure salty, all the rice was mediocre at best as were the vegetables a little crunchy, the salmon was good it had a nice sear, the shrimp looked good but I didnt try that (it was for the kids but they said it was alright), the yum yum sauce although not your typical light skinned sauce its more orange was really good. All in all, I would probably give them one more try, but I would have to be in the actual area. I'm not getting up and purposefully driving from Chesterfield to try it like I did...
