Rick's Prehistoric Mini Golf — Local services in Rio Rancho

I had the greatest experience here with my husband. It was so much fun and I love the dinosaurs! The dinosaurs actually move and make sounds. That is so fascinating to see in person and while playing the course! The course itself is really fun to play. I love how there is two different holes per hole, making it different everyday. The hills and rocks make it difficult but so much fun! I love a challenge. I also love that the course is wheelchair accessible. I am not in a wheelchair but the thought of being able to play mini golf with your entire family and not worry about fitting into a smaller space is so nice and thoughtful. Really puts the "family" in "family friendly". I took my parents the other night and they were amazed by everything and they loved it so much! The bathrooms were spotless, which is really nice to see. The staff was so lovely as well. The ice cream is to die for! I think it's nice all year round because it's indoors, rather than outside. I'm thinking of convincing my husband to do the annual pass because we would be able to go ALL THE TIME! I haven't got the chance to meet Rick but he seems like a really nice, kind and genuine guy. You can really tell when someone is passionate and love what they do. I really admire that and what he's done with this place. I shop in the shopping center where it's located and I have watched the building process and all the hard work be put into this place. If you get the chance to go, I hope you love it as...

What an amazing, family centered and all around fun mini golf establishment. You can see the owners passion in every detail of the courses. From facts about all his dinosaur animatronics to the details of the rest of his decorations. Definitely if you get the chance to meet and talk to the owner Rick do so. His vision was to build a place the whole family can go and enjoy themselves with very affordable ice cream to boot afterwards. The course may seem easy just by looking but I promise is full of fun quirks and with multiple hole locations on all 36 holes, you may never play the exact same course twice.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend signing up for the annual pass membership as you only have to go once a month to have it past for itself. And there’s no limits on how many times you can go in a month with the pass. I sincerely hope everyone gets a chance to come check this place out. We rented the cave (party room) for our son’s 4th birthday for the allowed two hours. We had about 20 people and that’s as large as I would go. The service was excellent. Thank you to Scott for going the extra mile and Bo for helping our guests. The package included ice cream and golf for 16 guests. We were able to decorate the room (Avengers vs. Dinosaurs!) about 30 minutes early. We brought our own food, cake and drinks. It was great. Thirty minutes to eat, mingle, pin the tail on the dinosaur, an hour to play golf, and another 30 minutes to sing, eat cake and ice cream and then clean up.
