If youâre looking for flavorful, fresh, and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Saigon 2 is an absolute gem in Rio Rancho! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentiveâwelcoming without being overbearing, and genuinely kind. You can tell they truly care about their guests.
The food? Incredible. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The savory pho had the perfect balance of aromatic broth and tender meat, while the vermicelli bowls were vibrant and refreshing with crisp veggies and perfectly grilled protein. Each bite felt like it was crafted with care.
One of the highlights of our visit was their coconut drinkâit was served fresh and chilled, and at the end, they even offered to cut it open so we could enjoy the soft coconut meat inside. It was such a fun, thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special.
Whether youâre a longtime fan of Vietnamese food or trying it for the first time, Saigon 2 delivers comfort, flavor, and amazing hospitality in every way....
Read moreMmmmm wow only place open today due to snowy weather. Well other places where open just not good asian food. Service well it slightly lacked but not being bothered every so often by a manager and staff with how is everything was a nice change. However we were sat by the door and there was nothing to block the cold when someone walked in, brrrrr it was 25 degrees outside thise breezes when the door opened felt like negative 25. But the amazing food and hot green tea sure helped ease fact we had to deal with the breeze. Even guest tried forcimg the door closed when someone entered; those who were waiting for a table already managed the doors out of courtesy. Great customers and guests make a less experience better. Thats why i gave it a 5 plus star rating.
Just find a way to add a second door to create an atrium to hold the cold out would make this place a 6. What an...
Read moreI went on a Sunday lunch. After dealing with a cold all week, I really wanted some pho. Albuquerque staples like Basil Leaf, Pho #1, Viet Taste, Pho Linh, and Viets Pho have really set the bar for Vietnamese cuisine locally for me. I didnt even know Vietnamese food could have bad versions until I came here.
Nothing was fresh. Spring rolls were really gummy and chewy. Lettuce was overripe and tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for awhile. The peanut sauce had a transparent white glaze that pulled around it when I dipped.
Combination Pho broth was okay but the collective ingredients were not good quality.
Hopefully this was a one off issue but with the plethora of options in this city, I donât think...
