Trying out a new restaurant in Rio Rancho!
The establishment is still working on the interior. This is a large establishment once inside I think they have plenty to add for atmosphere.
It looks like there may be an area for beer and mixed drinks toward the back that is still progress. A liquor license is still in the works!
I ordered the Tostado Mixta (Mixed Ceviche) and Pozole
My Mixta plate come out quickly and looked great. A nice fresh plate of blended seafood 🦞 , fresh vegetables 🍅 , guacamole 🥑 and more. The pozole serving is huge! I was thinking a cup size to complete my Mixta. I’ll be taking good food home.
The red chili 🌶 is really good with just the right amount of kick!
They have been back in service for three weeks and with COVID relaxing they should have a good go at being successful.
Five stars for now. The interior has allot of potential. Let’s see...
Read moreCustomer service is non-existent. I guess that's why they make you pay first. Once seated, they will NEVER go to your table to see if you need anything else. I asked for a table for four people and the girl at the register said, "For here or to go?". C'mon are you even paying attention to your customers?
Got my order wrong and said that I hadn't ordered the items. Four people, and only brought two items.
Once the food finally arrived correctly, the taste was foul. We got the shrimp cocktail and it was rancid and carbonated! Why is it even carbonated? Ingredients must be very old.
Gave them the benefit of the doubt and got their menudo. Zero spice! Extremely bland and again had to leave it.
Will never return unless they get their stuff together. We always support local businesses, but this one is just plain awful.
WORST RESTAURANT...
Read moreI had the misfortune of blowing a tire on my vehicles and luckily a tire place was located in the plaza I pulled in to. Since I had to wait for the new tire to be placed on my car, I decided to see if there was a place I could grab some Lunch while I waited and came upon this Mexican restaurant! The atmosphere was very casual with one placing their order at the counter and the food was brought out to my table once prepared. The hostess was very personable and gave me a great recommendation! I enjoyed the Costa Brava plate which consisted of bacon wrapped shrimp and carne asada. Accompanying the meat and seafood were corn tortillas, crispy fries, refried beans and rice and a roasted jalapeño pepper. All was tasty and enjoyable. Recommend dropping by and eating at this location when...
