Oh my goodness things have changed here. So out of the three targets that we have in our area. The one by the highway is the best. The second one I would say is in McHenry, but the third one in every Riverbank is horrible and this is why. They don’t truly have a refrigerated section for drive up. They ended up using part of the reserved area for the Starbucks and took out the Bed seating area and put refrigerators in there. And both other targets have been completely remodeled and actually have a section dedicated for drive up. They do not. Because of this reason, they constantly have the refrigerators full. Which is a huge problem for me because I live, very close to Riverbank My husband works close enough to Henry or the highway so he can go to either one. It’s just a huge inconvenience because 90% of the time the refrigerators are full. And now with building a Costco and we heard an in and out. They really really need to remodel this store and they’ve yet to do it.
I don’t understand what they’re waiting for because revenue is very high in this area. And they can’t keep up with all the drive ups anymore. so basically if you wanna purchase anything here, you have to go in the store or drive ups cannot be cold items or perishable items.
It’s also a hot and miss I’ll get things that have been opened or I’ll get the wrong items. That’s been happening a lot lately. Or missing items. That’s just part of target now and people are dime dozen. The coworkers ambience seems to be OK there. All of the target stores BUT it’s just a minimal job they go in and get it done. Unfortunately some of them don’t care and they just throw everything in one bag and you find your bread squished or chips squished it just depends on who bags it and who is delivering it to you. Also if you do the drive up sometimes Starbucks will also get your orders wrong. And if that happens, they’re not gonna go back in and fix it for you. So you just have to take what you get and just leave. It is what it is, but there’s definitely need for improvement here...
Read moreThis review is for the amazing customer service help I received. My father built customer service departments for companies and I have VERY high standards. I bought a $50 Home Depot GC through self checkout. A few hours after I got home, I realized I misplaced it and tore up my house before calling Target. They told me to call Home Depot, which was misinformation. Long story short, I went round and round a few times over the phone with different Target departments and finally went in to talk in person after someone named Lily was extremely helpful over the phone. When I got in, the person at guest services listened to me fully and attentively. They rang for a higher up (I’m not the type to ask for the manager, so it was nice that they took that step). After talking to a couple more people, they went so far as to check the camera footage, because at this point I was thinking it was stolen. They saw that I did put it in my bag, and honestly, I’d much rather be upset at myself for misplacing things than think people are stealing items. Everyone involved went above and beyond in this situation. To go as far as looking at the camera footage, and still being kind and patient with me… I couldn’t have asked for more. They could’ve just straight up said there’s nothing they could do. The time they took to look into this for me surpassed even my ridiculous standards. They even gave me a $5 GC for in-store, which they absolutely didn’t have to do. Reminder to customers: please treat those serving you with kindness, patience, and understanding. I could have gotten angry at the Target employee who first directed me to call Home Depot, but that would get nobody anywhere. Instead, these amazing team members figured it...
Read moreThis store deserves a zero! I did an online order today to be picked up at the store. I received a text that my order was ready for pick up. I changed the order to drive through. I arrived at the store and input my parking number. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes and nothing.... no order. I got out of my car to talk to the people at the drive through. They really didn't care about me. Someone that ran orders out to the station asked if he could help me. I gave him my order information and said I had been waiting 20 minutes. He went inside to find my order. The next thing I know they said my order was not pulled. I asked how I could get a notice that my order was ready to be picked up. No response. Someone else came out and I explained my frustration. She said the bag was lost and they didn't tell me. They were pulling the items again. I asked how much longer and they said 5 minutes. I told her this was frustrating and I had another appointment. Her response to me was snarky and rude. She said well I can't make things appear. Really..... how about sorry. After 10 minutes, mind you I was now standing there this entire time waiting, they told me the color I wanted was not in stock. I told him I was already late for my next appointment and they should refund me. I never received an apology; they truly didn't care. This was a waste of 45 minutes for me with a lot of frustration. I tried calling the store to talk to customer service. Every time I hit the button for customer service I was disconnected. I called back and hit the button for HR because now I wanted to speak to the manager. The phone just rang and no one answered. Things must be pretty good for this store since they have no problem treating...
