Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Riverbank

Our party of 4 were greeted and seated within 5 min. We had agreed to meet together for lunch because of the national $10 gourmet burger meal deal. The deal was not advertised inside this location and the server was not aware of any specials but we're here now because of the advertised deal on TV and online so we went ahead and ordered. We received our meals and requested ketchup for our fries. Apparently their policy is not to put it on the table anymore. No ketchup at a hamburger and fry restaurant. WHAT? We requested ketchup 3 times before receiving a very small bowl of it for the four of us to share? (EVER HEARD OF COVID??) By this time all of us but one had finished our burgers and ate 75% of our fries so no need for ketchup anymore. They also must have discontinued their bottomless fries (maybe due to the ketchup shortage) because one in our group had requested additional fries and that request went unfilled.

Bottom line we were into a lunch for over $20 per person, $90 total with tip included. Ninety dollars for the National $10 gourmet burger meal deal for a group of four. They now have 4 very unhappy customers over .50 cents worth of ketchup and failure to honor their advertised specials.

I covered the lunch for our friends because I know they are financially struggling and were expecting a advertised lunch special price that was not honored by this establishment.

2022 Review (1 year later): We arrived at 11am door opening, the first table we were going to be sat at was dirty and the glass dividers between the tables had little kid finger prints and hadn't been cleaned in a while. 2nd table just as dirty along with the seats/booths. We looked around and noticed food on the floor, dirty tables and chairs and the glass between the other tables were just as dirty. We got up and left. In a world of COVID not to mention restaurants are supposed to be clear this place was disgusting. We will not be back. Clearly the manager is not doing their job otherwise the place would be cleaned before anyone left the night before.

2020 Review: Burger and Fries were cold and they had to remake it, didn't make the bacon crisp and then charged me for the extra burger. In addition, we were watching the basketball game (in overtime) and the last three minutes they turned the channel to Daytona 500 which was rained out and showing 2019 race. We were three in a company. We all ordered turkey burgers, two with fries one with salad and two cokes.. Most of you know at Red Robin fries are bottomless and so is the salad and the drinks. The food came at a reasonable time, but we had to wait continuously for fries .When the food came, we told the waitress that will be needing more fries just looking at six pieces of fries on the plates. We waited and waited until we were ready and all done with our sandwich. That’s when she brought the fries and at this point, the fries weren’t even hot. They had already come to room temperature. We had also asked for refills on the Coke. She never brought it when we were ready to leave. That’s when she came and said that if need be, she can put Coke in a Takeaway cups. We told her no thank you. they weren’t busy they were only a few people that she was serving. A redhead waitress and she was bringing food and refills on the other tables but just not our table I feel she was racist so guess what I gave her no tip on a $75 bill I gave her no tip.
