I have a few problems with the way this particular location is being run. It just recently opened and our family gave it a shot. My son loved his ramen bowl and the quality of chicken we got in our meals seemed better than some of their competitors.

However, our order had a few issues that apparently are not just a 1 time mistake and so i wanted to warn people before ordering. Online and on their menu posted outside, they have a picture of their chicken rice “bowl” it looks like and as you can see it looks kind of like a fried rice bowl filled with diced chicken and all kinds of vegetables. So we ordered 2 of those and a few plates, with one of the plates being teriyaki chicken. Well, the bowls are actually just chunks of teriyaki chicken over white rice with broccoli EXACTLY the same thing as the teriyaki plate which costs $4 more in person and $5 more online. So i went in store to ask an employee about this and they said that their store uses a menu from a different location. So this new Ramen 101 is using photos of food from other locations and yet still making something completely different. Kind of shady right? Now the other issue i had is online it states all their plates come with macaroni salad, which based on their menu it looks like they charge $5 for and might explain why their plates cost $4 more than the chicken bowl i just talked about. Well, they currently DO NOT HAVE ANY MACARONI SALAD and yet STILL CHARGE YOU as if they did. There is no warning online before ordering and in person, they have 1 single sign on the plexi glass by the register that says something like “plates come with rice and vegetables only”. So they don’t even use the words “we currently have no macaroni salad” or any mention of it, almost like the owner hopes you don’t notice that they are charging you the same price as other locations for less food.

So if you go here to eat, you might want to expect misrepresentation of the food you are buying and then do not buy a teriyaki chicken plate because you are paying $4-5 more for the exact same thing as their...

Love it here !! Definitely would recommend. The riverbank location is fairly new and the staff is the same from the modesto location. The girls in the front are always super helpful and accomidating when possible and the food comes out quick and hot.

Flavors 10/10 🙌 !!!!! The Black garlic ramen and the veggie ramen are amazing! The more chilli oil the better!! Spicier!! But more flavor for sure!!! The chicken katsu is always fresh and always nice and crispy. There is normally a small wait time for this item compared to most other items on their menu but always worth the wait!

Just be careful because the riverbank location DOES NOT Have macaroni salad or the mini meals (smaller portions) .they cross it off on their menus and they mention it numerous times and people still try to order it... if you want the Macaroni salad drive 5 minutes away to the modesto location instead of giving the staff a hard time about it. (Experienced a few cutomers ,while dinning in, getting angry in a very over dramatic way at staff for this and it is not okay..)

Location is always clean and it's bigger then modesto so there is normally no wait time... love the vibes at this location and never had a bad...

I went there last evening and took out an order of Chicken Ramen. Later in the evening when I opened it the first thing I found was that the Soup had grease floating on the top! I warmed it up and dispite the order being "mild", my first taste of the soup was so spicey it set my mouth on fire. I am allergic to highly soiced foods. I fed the whole thing down my garbage disposer and went to bed with no dinner. I called them today and the woman who answered the phone stated the manager was not available. She insisted I had to tell her the subject of my call to leave a note for the manager. So I told her my experience. I asked to have my money refunded. She said they could not refund my money unless I could bring them the uneaten portion of the food. Therefore I had no recourse. I feel like they were accusing me of trying to defraud them. I feel like I am the one who was defrauded! Not to say I will never again visit...

It was my first time trying this place. I got the Chashu rice plate and vegetable tempura. My plate was delicious and I ate the whole thing. The vegetable tempura was missing something, like a dipping sauce, maybe spicy mayo. I should've asked for some, but I was too busy inhaling the Chashu rice.

I believe this food was the pinnacle of food. the service was brilliant! the young severs were excellent! eating here felt like zephyr on the zenith of the Swiss alps 💜. Give these young people a raise! The Teriyaki Chicken was a spiffing coaster of flavors !! So good, would come here again.
