If I could I'd give them half a star I bought a game from them the code was supposed fo be printed on the receipt it wasn't I realized that when I got home called the store was on hold for around 10 minutes until I finally spoke with someone when I expressed my issue they placed my on hold for another 4 minutes before being told that there was nothing they could do except offer me a refund I stated that I wanted to get my game and they responded by referring me to corporate so I decided to call corporate instead of driving back to best buy it took 18 minutes to "resolve" my issue sadly I had to sign up for there rewards program or I wouldn't be able to get my game after giving me email to the service rep I was told I would have to wait and additional 24hrs before receiving my game code mindedness you this was on Friday when Sunday came around I still hadn't received anything at this point I was frustrated and decided I would go Monday to return box my game came in (The game was digital but had other physical items) I walked in approached the customer service desk and kindly asked to speak with the manager. The manager walked over and asked me what was wrong and I expressed my issues to which she responded in a extremely unprofessional way what made it worse is from that since I had approached her she seemed annoyed like I had disturbed her despite the fact that she was idly talking to another employee though I did manage to get my money back I would not recommend buying from them in the first place three majority of employees are bad which is sad because there are a few good ones in fact the same day I got my refund another employee assisted me and because of that I was happy I wasn't planning on leaving a review but what pushed me to do this was that as I was browsing the Nintendo products a employee asked me if I needed help to which I responded "yes do you guys have any joycons?" He didn't even acknowledge my question he simply walked away and because of all this I can not recommend shopping her it's a terrible store with maybe 4 decent employees also the manager is horrible at her job and should not only be trained on how to be polite but also how to act in a professional environment

   Read moreTerrible customer service. Twice now my wife and I have been talked down to and been treated rudely. First time was last year when we bought a T.V. We were told they would ship it to our house for free, but once we drove out to pay for it we were told otherwise. Shady way to make a deal. The only reason we went back was because Apple recommended we bring our iPhone X there for repairs. When we were first greeted for our appointment, it was all very rushed, and were greeted without a smile. My wife was asked to give the password to her phone out loud twice. That's a pretty big violation of customer privacy. Next we were told that we absolutely had to purchase cloud storage to begin diagnostics. We had no intention of doing so, since Apple claimed Best Buy could do a temporary back up without hassle. We explained that the issue we were having made using the phone impossible, and that backing it up ourselves wasn't an option. The rep kept on saying with a stone, smug look on his face that we HAD to do it first and made it seem like we were too stupid to understand. They said this would be too much trouble and that something could go wrong. That to me, sounds like like laziness. After being told how to use our phone like we didn't know, they finally saw the issues we were having. We were told to wait around 10 minutes in the store, then we could leave while they ran the diag. That ten minites turned into fourty five minutes. After a total of two hours we were told the cloud storage back up that we "had" to have didn't work and that they couldn't proceed. They made no effort to contact us even after we made sure they had a proper contact number and were assured we would be called if anything came up or when it was ready.
We left the store disappointed yet again. What a brutal experience. I don't see us ever stepping foot inside the Riverbank Best Buy ever again. The staff desperately need to be taught basic customer service training and the get over themselves. I'd give zero stars if it...

Tvs and pcs might be diffrent but most everything thats newly released there completly cluless. I went for an turtle beach 700 wirless head set. A few months ago when it was first relesed. I had read the bad review and did my home work befor going to cheack them out. When i asked questions about it and another headset the guy was cluless i told him what i knew and he was like well you know more then me. Omg. The last visit i went for the elgoto capture device. And the lady had no idea what it was or where it waa thay looked for 30 mins. Finally said thay think it was stolen or something cuz its know where to be founnd. No problem. And i still like best buy to go look around and thay still match amazon prime prices. Just dont expect them to give you real info any more do your home work first dont let them sell you anything thay recomend.
