Jennifer is extremely rude & unprofessional. I wish the other woman I spoke with picked up the phone instead of Jennifer. A couple weeks ago, I called and asked for my sliding door to be repaired. They sent Joe out, he was cool & he got the job done fast but after he left, we noticed the door wasn't sliding smoothly like before. Nothing happened to the door, the glass was cracked. So I called back and the other woman (Really wish I caught her name) was extremely helpful and informed me they would send Joe right back out but it would have been for Saturday since he was off Friday. He came, fixed it, a couple weeks later, the same thing is happening; the door will not close smoothly. So I called again, and Jennifer picked up. Off to the start she had attitude, "what's your order number because we don't keep that information?" Umm we're in 2018, DO BETTER. She asked for my address & number and said she'll call me right back (keep in mind it's Friday & they close at 5pm, I called around 3pm). 2 hours later, no call back. Ok, let me call her back before they close. She answered with another aggressive attitude, "I didn't call back, because Joe is not in till Monday. Why would I call back?" Business 101, you tell a customer you're going to call them right back, DO IT! I thought it would have been common sense, but apparently not for Jennifer! Staff doesn't seem too fond of her either..now I see why! I'll definitely keep up-to-date when & if my door gets fixed. I was okay with the situation at first, because we all make mistakes, but Jennifer was the main reason for this 1 star. If I could give...
Read moreNot often do we stop and think to thank those people who drop everything when unexpected accidents happen around the house. Running a successful business in today's market isn't always an easy thing to do. Now take into consideration the number of years, and decades that Fred's has been serving the Inland Empire and trying to accommodate everyone's needs, large or small.
If you've used them, most likely you have spoken with Sheryl or Cate in the front office. Couple this with the experience of field technicians like Heath and Carlos, then you have a winning combination and a finished product you will be proud of.
Having used them for a remodel of a bar area with cut and beveled glass, that when a bedroom window broke due to heat they were the first and only call. Sheryl and Cate did everything they could to get the quote in my hand the same day. When I decided to move forward, Health visited the home and took precise measurements of the double pained window. He also explained about Low-E glass and the effects tint has on it. Within a few days, Sheryl called to book an appointment and under an hour, Carlos had the window in.
Being a State Farm Agent in Orange County, I insure and work with many contractors in a claim environment. Not only is Fred's service and people a large consideration, but the quality of their work, material and price speaks loudly about their name...
Read moreI called Fred’s Glass and gave specific dimensions of what glass I wanted. They quoted me a price. The next day I went there. As I began to speak the lady interrupted and told me what I wanted. I said no and tried again to state what I wanted. She kept trying to TELL ME what I wanted. Every time I tried to talk she interrupted. She was very negative. She lit up with every opportunity to say they couldn’t do something. As I was about to leave a guy came up and started measuring the old glass I brought. He ignored me even though I was 2 feet away. He had his back to me. Since I had no intention of doing business here I said excuse me to him. He ignored me. I said oh, I guess you didn’t hear me. He said I heard you. He didn’t even have manners enough to turn around. I told him he was obviously too busy and that I’d wait for him to finish. (I didn’t want the waste his time and there was no reason to measure.) He finally finished and never asked what I needed. Just a rude and unhappy place. The guys doing the work in the shop seemed cool. I will never take my...
