Luxury Nails & Spa — Local services in Riverside

To be honest I only treat myself to the luxury of having my nails done twice a year once on my birthday and the other on December 31 this year I went early and I AM REGRETTING IT NOW!

So I am no expert but I always thought STERILIZATION was a must for any NAIL SALON to prevent BACTERIA OR OTHER LIVING MICROORGANISM FROM BEING TRANSFERRED FROM ONE CLIENT TO ANOTHER.

This would be done by DISINFECTING AND STERILIZATION OF THEIR NAIL EQUIPMENT after each use on a client by placing the equipment in a disinfecting solution or autoclave to prevent contamination from one client to the next.

It would seem that from what I personally witnessed and EXPERIENCE is that Luxury Nails & Spa has decided and clearly choosen not to follow this procedure.

Unfortunately I discovered this fact way to late as in most Nail Salons there are distractions mine was the TV which I was focused on and had not noted the nail equipment which was being USED ON ME WAS NOT CLEAN OR STERILIZED.

AND EVEN MORE SHOCKING WAS that after she used them on me she simple tossed them in a drawer along with a variety of other mixed nail equipment.

As I watched in SHOCK THAT SHE DID NOT EVEN WIPE THE EQUIPMENT OR PLACE THEM IN A STERILIZATION SOLUTION NOPE JUST TOSSED THEM IN THAT DRAWER.

Now here is the sad part as I was standing at the counter I looked over to see this very same person greet another client and reached in pull out the SOILED AND UNSANITARY NAIL EQUIPMENT JUST USED ON ME PROCEEDED TO DO THE NEXT CLIENTS NAILS.

I guess there is no true way to tell if the next time you go have your nails done the nail equipment is clean UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY SEE THEM REMOVE THEIR EQUIPMENT OUT OF STERILIZATION SOLUTION IN FRONT OF YOU.

I have no plans to go back and now it is the waiting game to see if I RECEIVED A PARTING GIFT OF A NAIL FUNGUS FROM LUXURY NAILS & SPA.

I would advise you against going to Luxury Nails & Spa the THOUGHT AND FEAR OF WHAT OTHER POSSIBLE INFECTION I MAY HAVE RECEIVED AS A RESULT OF THE UNSANITARY STANDARDS IS A VERY REAL CONCERN.

So before you sit down in that chair ask to see where the nail equipment is BEFOREHAND.

Because the few minutes it takes to ask the question in the begining will save you hours of worry in the...

REVIEW FORM WIFE WENT JAN 16, 2016 YOU WILL NOTICE RIGHT AWAY HOW WEAK THE VENTILATION ON THIS SALON.I WENT THERE WITH A NEIGHBOR BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN GOING FOR FEW YRS NOW.BUT THIS IS THE 2ND TIME AND IM SURE WILL BE THE LAST TIME FOR ME PERSONALLY. THEY'LL SHORT CUT YOU ON CLEANING YOUR FEET AND NOT GIVING YOU MINI MASSAGE AS WHAT THEY ADVERTISED. FAST FORWARD, AS SOON AS SHE STARTED DOING MY MANI,RIGHT AWAY QUICKLY CUT MY NAIL SO SHORT!!CHOPPED!! WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME FIRST! I DIDN'T GIVE A BIG FUZZ AND TRY TO BE CALM AND NICE.BECAUSE 1 OF MY NAIL ACCIDENTALLY BROKE AT HOME SHE ASSUMED I WANTED IT ALL CHOPPED!!! WOW!! I'M NOT USED TO HAVE A VERY CHOPPED OFF NAILS! OTHER ISSUE, I TRIED TO PAY WITH CREDIT CARD AND THEY PREPARE CASH AND DEBIT. I HAVE READ THEIR BROCHURE AND SAYS THEY ACCEPT ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS SO I CHALLENGE THEM ABOUT WHAT THEY PROMISE ON THEIR AD. MISLEADING INFORMATION. I PAID CASH AND THEY EVEN GAVE ME A HARD TIME GIVING A RECEIPT! NO RECEIPT FOR CASH SAID WORKER AT FRONT DESK.?? REALLY UNTIL I INSISTED AND THEY MADE A SCRATCH PAPER RECEIPT. NEVER REFER THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING.NOT FRIENDLY WORKERS.THAT'S IT FOR ME.(OTHER I NOTICED HOW DIRTY THE ARM RESTS! NOT BEEN WIPED FROM PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS? The People that work there are VERY very RUDE UNKIND NOT AT ALL COMPASSIONATE..

I had my nails done there..and the person who did them did a crudy job UNEVEN! not smooth. Paint was off by next day & plus she kept hurting me..i told her ouch OUCH YOUR HURTING ME!!!!! Stop PLEASE! please be cautious..her reply was. Laughed at me said. awwwww- you a baby--HAHA poor baby u grow up now - Get over it She continued laughing at me n still hurting me i finally got up from chair ask for HELP. .give me new person. This woman just could not understand that she actually was injuring my nails n hands.. She was laughing at me.& massage was bending my fingers incorrectly..

So then i got new help. And she told her ""awww she a baby"". Ouch ouch ..

I walked out crying cuz in PAIN & humiliation I did not give her a tip..i also said to manager you need to discuss with your workers that customers are here to relax & enjoy the spa..... Not to get put down n hurt.

I will NEVER never recommend This nail salon..NEVER will i go back..

Now i found a awesomeness shop I go to a VERY NICE nail salon who treat you with kindness RESPECT they talk to you as a person( not cows..move them thru fast) These are lovely ladies and they do wonderful work
