my husband and I have been a customer for Rent a Center for about 2 years now and when we first started going there it was great the workers there were kind and if they were with a customer they would at least acknowledge us and say "welcome to rent a center we will be right with you" and that was cool cause they knew we were there. But now when you walk in the store the employees are in there office of if they are with a customer they don't say anything to you except for yesterday a lady was with a customer and said hello someone will be with you shortly. The new manager and employees they have there is rediculious cause they don't smile and when they make there courtesy calls the workers are rude very rude. We still have to make payments on what we have there but im looking into paying that bill online cause just the thought of me going into that store I get sick. Read moreGetting the products was absolutely easy. I’ve told them twice I have a new card due to fraud on my account. They take the time to call me on the day after my payment was supposed to be scheduled. I let the female on the phone know that I’m dealing with the fire victims in LA donating stuff and volunteering my time. I don’t have my wallet on me. And her response was well if you can find it and call back so we don’t have to schedule a pick up. So instead of showing any type of empathy, they threatened to pick up the product. Absolutely disgusting. So I let them schedule it. I will never do business with them again. And I suggest anyone who thinks about doing it, turned to another Rent-A-Center if that’s what you need. After I paid them off, we decided to get a television from them. The manager Mike remembered my name and what I was shopping for after meeting him only once. They are very nice and very professional. Even tho when I make big purchases I ask a million questions-both Claire and mike were very patient with me and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience or a pain. They were understanding and patient with me. Even the delivery drivers made me feel comfortable coming into my home.
