Once again I was just in Nick and Son's the other day. This time I was there to help my daughter purchase furniture for her new house. Just I have, she loves the place. The service was excellent as usual. They went way above the call of duty to get her what she wanted and yet stayed within our budget. Jacob, oneof Nick's sons, ALWAYS remembers my husband and I, but most if all, he never fails to ask about our 7 yr old grandson, who he's met just once. I love knowing we can go into the store and always receive very personable service. Not to mention how nice the furnishings and how great the prices are. I was able to completely furnish our grandson's bedroom, purchase a mattress set for my daughter, as well as a 26 cu ft refrigerator and all for under $2,000. I don't know of another retail store where you can get such great service, have exceptional prices and furniture is new.

Thank you to Nick and Son's, especially to Nick and Jacob for all you've both done to see that we have been able to purchase all we've needed during these last 3.5 yrs. As long as you're in business we'll always shop with Nick and Son's Discount Furniture!

Customer Update: As previously stated we were off to Nick and Son's to see about making another purchase. And again, the service was excellent. We found exactly what we were looking for and at an absolutely outstanding price. I love my new front load washer and dryer set we bought earlier this month. I absolutely highly recommend going to Nick and Son's Furniture Outlet before going anywhere else to look for what you need. We were in and out of there in no time at all. Definitely will be going back!!

Previous Review: We bought a sofa/love seat set, 3 pc coffee and end tables set,. and a vanity set from NIck and Son's Furniture in Riverside, Ca., and was extremely happy with the wonderful service and personal attention we receive from this family owned establishment. There may have been signs of a hiccup in the delivering of our items as it was after a holiday weekend, yet without issues or complaining, we were still made sure to know that customer service is a major factor with everyone at Nick and Son's as we received a bonus at the time our delivery arrived. They had added free of charge a beautiful lamp to add to our new living room decor and surprisingly it matched to decor perfectly. Not to mention that this lamp could not cost less that $45-$50, at least from what I could see after comparing it to the same item at other establishments. We're so confident that we will again receive the same service and quality of merchandise, we're off to make another...

Lack of customer service

A couple weeks ago I went inside to look around at some furniture. I was greeted by the salesman very politely and he showed me around continually checking to see if I needed assistance. My wife and I felt comfortable and decided we wanted to buy a table that we were offered a good deal on . I believe the older gentleman there maybe the owner came over and was one of the politest person you can meet . He offered my daughter some cookies and stickers . We got to talking and he was giving us incredible deals because it was our first time there and he wanted us to be regular customers . We ended up spending a couple thousand in furniture and looking forward to making this our regular furniture store and recommended them to family . I went back in yesterday to purchase some more furniture , again I was greeted by the sales man as he remembered me . I was looking to purchase a recliner and he said let me talk to my boss on what I can do for you since you made a big purchase last time . The boss was there just sitting on one of the couches and didn’t even get up to come my way just sat there and rudely said 399 plus tax is best I can do not evenly looking at me . I said ok, told the salesman thank you and turned around and walked out . Felt very disrespected that he couldn’t even get up and come over to talk to me . For future customers if the owner is there continue to shop you will be in good hands . If the son is there don’t waste time and turn around and leave as he will not have much manners towards you and comes off pretty rude . I went over the weekend to look at a bed I found on their website. I called earlier the previous week before driving the distance to Riverside. The gentleman I spoke to the first time was an absolute gem. Provided me all the details and was really patient with me. The second time it wasn't him and this person was less than the best reflection of the business. However, we all have our days and maybe I was just on the poor end of the day for him. When I went in I was surprised to be able to recognize that the gentleman working on Sunday was the same person I spoke to the first time. Again, patient and wonderful through my entire bed buying experience. He was sweet to my children as well. The experience was beautiful. His people skills were genuine. He was honest in his sales approach. He was understanding of my financial restraints and pointed me in the best direction for me when he could have EASILY chose to up-sell me. People who truly care about people really leave an impact. I am so happy to have had...
