I interviewed with Eric and was under the impression that he would be hiring for leads but offered me a barista position for minimum wage. If you list that you are looking for crewmates you should not have lead positions as a listing. Here are my notes.
After interviewing for 30 minutes he clarified to me that he is looking for people with 3 years barista experience in order to be considered to be lead but offers minimum pay and crewmember is for starters always. He explained that he is willing to train people but "refuses to waste his own time" if it means he may have people quit on him. If you want to be hired he wants people to be only "loyal and outstanding work ethic" Personally I have no problems starting from the beginning but I asked him a few questions before I could consider taking the position as a crewmember. I asked "how many managers do you have" he replied "no one" he even told me that he has employees that has been with him for 2 years and he still has not considered them as managers. Big red flag. During the entire interview process he was mostly rushing me to answer and was quickly dismissive of my past experience. He told me " he did not care whatever experience you have anyone can lie in their resume" what experience/ expectations he has is basically you need to be a super model/teachers pet. One of the first things he's asked me is my age (cause I look young) regardless of my experiences at other jobs and my professions he refused to allow me to elaborate or explain in detail what I do for work. Most of the interview was just him expressing the above as well as explaining there is "allot of drama"
Bottomline I was very mislead about the job being offered as well as being told of having 2 years worth of employees and still no manager? He is not looking for managers. He is looking for crewmembers and only crewmembers. If you are in the impression that you may be given higher pay/ higher position because he says so? It is proven otherwise that it isn't even going to be considered. If you want to work minimum and only be a crewmember this is the job for you. But if you want opportunity...
Read moreI ordered 3 drinks, the subtotal was 15.00 tax was 1.36 and I tipped 1.50 (counter service to-go). Unfortunately, my drink was made incorrectly. The young man called our order number and I immediately ask what the drink was because I had ordered a Large Iced Black Tea with 25% sweetness ($5.50). He went to get the cashier and asked her what it was, she said it's a Black Milk Tea. I asked them to remake it without milk because I ordered an Iced Black Tea. Faith said if I wanted a different drink I would have to pay for it. I didn't want a different drink, I wanted what I wanted. I told her to keep the Tea and asked for the manager. The supervisor said she said you said milk. I explained again, that I did not order it with milk. I have never ordered a Iced Black Tea with milk in it. The supervisor would not give me her name. I left the drink there and do not receive a replacement. The is absolutely terrible service. I have brought my daughters and their friends here for Boba, milk teas, etc. I don't drink them, they do but after today I will never...
Read moreI have been here many times andwhen done right the drinks are really good, but I have had my drink done wrong multiple times. I went in today to get a replacement for a drink where I ordered jasmine cheese foam and received jasmine matcha cheese foam. Not the same thing!! They were suppose to fix it. I also ordered a drink for my son. I was given no receipt, my order was filled behind several people who came in and ordered after me, my drink was made in the wrong cup, so the cheese foam wasn't right. When I complained, the manager said that it was the same thing and it was a free drink anyways. He said that if I insisted they would remake it, I really wasn't prepared to wait 10 more minutes for a drink...The drink did not have the same flavor, with the cheese foam mixed in instead of on top. I didn't enjoy the mismade drink and the manager...
