Please take the time to read this. So I didn’t want to write this and took a few days to think about it but I think people who spend their money here should know and understand something that has happened to not only myself but another friend I have. After going to Urban Air I took my wife and kids to this place and placed a decent order for them. The younger ones there were absolutely great, friendly, and fun to speak to. I place the order and went to pay and sit down, but once this was done I observed the manager of the pizza place speaking to two younger kids that work there, would say in their 17-19 years old range. I further watched and the manager starting to talk down to them and berate them and I mean to the point where I could see the kids start to take it badly and it was apparent they were hurt deeply by the way she treated them. She even got to a point where she was yelling at them for a simple mistake that anyone could have made. I had enough and after she walked off I asked the kids for the district manager’s phone number or corporate contact. The woman came over and said I own this company. I began advising her how inappropriate she was to those kids and how anyone could make a simple mistake and if she was gonna scold them at least don’t sit there and berate them in front of your patrons coming and paying you. She began stating she was sorry but then rolled her eyes while I walked away and said “like I care what you think”. I was gonna turn around and go ham but my kids were there and wife and I didn’t want them seeing their father acting like that so I stopped and turned around and thanked the younger one for everything they did and told them to never let someone talk to you like that. They actually came over while I left and thanked me and even the other patrons behind me thanked me as well. They said they couldn’t believe that happened. I would say this is a one time incident but a day or two later a friend went in there to eat and called me after they left and told me the manager there was a real jerk to her workers and that’s when I told him about my experience. Listen, I hope she starts to realize that maybe that’s not the way to act but after my friend called me I’m sure she is like this a lot. Please keep this in mind when you spend money there that the Owner could still be talking like this or treating your child this way if they are working there. Me personally, I can’t give to that business my money knowing that it goes to an establishment that acts that way to their employees. Please, don’t go here. Go somewhere that treats everyone, even their patrons and employees, with respect and truly appreciates your visit. Thank you for reading this and have...
Read moreThe new owner is trying hard but might need a little more training. Bought a beer last night and it was super foamy. He didn't know why.
After watching a million bar rescues i knew problems were possible due to temperature or improper set up of the CO2 or it's dirty.
Nowadays it just takes a quick AI search to figure it out. See below, i hope it helps. Otherwise this is a good spot, good food, good service.
GPT Response: Beer comes out of the tap foamy or with excess head for several common reasons:
Improper Keg Temperature
Beer that's too warm (above 38°F) can release excess CO₂, causing foam.
Ideal keg temperature is between 36°F to 38°F.
Incorrect CO₂ Pressure
Too much CO₂ pressure pushes beer out too quickly, creating foam.
Too little pressure can also create turbulence, causing excess foam.
Optimal pressure usually ranges between 10-14 PSI.
Dirty or Improperly Maintained Tap Lines
Dirty lines or faucets can cause turbulent flow and increased foam.
Regular cleaning and sanitizing (ideally every two weeks) is recommended.
Improper Pouring Technique
Opening the faucet halfway or slowly can create excessive foam due to turbulence.
Quick, smooth pulls of the tap handle fully open produce less foam.
Length and Diameter of Draft Lines
Lines that are too short or too long can affect the beer's flow rate, causing turbulence and foam.
Incorrectly sized lines (diameter too large or too small) can disrupt proper pressure balance.
Empty or Nearly Empty Keg
A near-empty keg often produces more foam due to air pockets and agitation.
Recent Movement or Agitation
If a keg has been recently moved or shaken, the beer inside becomes agitated, increasing foaminess.
Quick solutions:
Check and adjust the keg temperature.
Adjust CO₂ pressure (usually around 12 PSI).
Clean the draft lines thoroughly and regularly.
Ensure proper pour technique (fully opening faucet quickly and tilting the glass appropriately).

Read moreWant a good mother/son afternoon or Dad/son day out? Or family night? There's a whole lot going on in this shopping complex, there's: Urban Air, a great barbers shop , "Blends and Bladz" and an intresting snow dessert cone shop called Vampire Penguin.
This pizza shop, Your Pie, fits really well into all the shops around here. And all the places listed above we've gone to and can say are great as well.
You can take your kids to Urban air, get your son a great haircut and go to a really delicious, cool, clean, and neat pizza shop all in one go.
The pizzas are basic to complex. My son got a pepperoni and hamburger pizza and we got the hot honey pepperoni with Italian Sausage and peach persuiotto pizza. We also tried the pizza sandwiches- all the doughs are made in the oven keel including the sandwiches dough!
When we went in there was a group of kids and only two people working. They were super professional, as fast as they could be- and they even trippled checked for pumkin and raspberry cheesecake Gelato in the back for us. They had it- and the pumpkin and raspberry cheesecake were both solid gelatos.
They also have a reward program that goes towards things like a free pizza. It's also worth noting theres a cool tap bar with wine and beer- should you do a family day and after Urban air you want a good pizza and beer- this is a great spot.
I will definitely be coming back for a mom/son day out. We are faithfuls to "Blends and Bladez" and Urban Air is a great spot for kids. This pizza spot is a great place to end a great outing.
I came here for getting my son's hair cut for the new school year and then took him out for pizza-this has given us a great start to the...
