We ate at Red Lobster. Food good, service terrible! I know short staffed but this was lack of effort. We finally received our drinks 15 mins or so after we got our food. We wanted more biscuits but waitress never would stop our way. Wanted a second drink finally asked the hostess to let her know. 20 minutes waited. We asked hostess again. Still another 15 minutes went by . Finally got our drinks & when we tried to share our disappointment, her reply was well you know you can always take more biscuits home. No apology just snippy attitude. She had no problem giving good service to the booth in front of us. There was four so it's simple conclusion since they came in after us. It was probably about chance of a better tip from four than two. I for one would like to point out for owners and managers that it seems to happen a lot for this type of service ; it's to the waitress or waiter advantage to get customers in and out quickly , not offer more food or drinks because a tips a tip and the quicker they push you in and out the more tables they can "service". However, for the owner this practice costs them in beverage purchases and loss in return customers ! The disrespect to the patrons is what sticks with you. It's not like we can get up and get stuff. No fun choking down your meal and getting your drink long after go d has gotten cold. We value & respect these workers, it's not an easy position. I know I've done this work, but respect matters, most people eat out to finally enjoy not having to cook, what some good times with others, or going through something that has disrupted their cooking for themselves. Eating out is costly & a rare luxury so I decided to put this out there in hopes that saying something might change this trend that is soooo obvious why we are getting the brush off and heeve ho treatment. We have went for years to an awesome steakhouse in Waterloo Iowa ,The Hickory House, that in all those years they have never had this problem. They serve delicious food but more importantly they treat every patron like they appreciate you chose their establishment for your dining. Managers and owners could benefit from just considering this kind of approach with mutual respect both ways and to pay attention to what really goes on because this has truly been a trend because it's always...
Read moreVisiting Apache Mall in Rochester, MN, was a fantastic shopping experience. As the largest mall in the area, it offers a great mix of stores, from major anchors like Macyâs and Scheels to popular brands like Lululemon, Bath & Body Works, and Victoriaâs Secret. Whether you're shopping for fashion, gifts, or everyday items, youâll find plenty of variety here.
One thing I appreciated was how clean and well-maintained the mall is. The layout is easy to navigate, with plenty of seating areas to take a break. I especially enjoyed browsing at Barnes & Noble, and the local specialty stores were a nice touch, giving the mall a unique character beyond the national chains.
Dining options are another highlight. The food court had plenty of choices for a quick bite, but I opted for a sit-down meal at HuHot Mongolian Grillâit was fresh, delicious, and perfect after a long day of shopping. There are other great options too, like Red Lobster and Applebeeâs, if youâre in the mood for a full meal.
Parking was convenient with lots of space, and I noticed they even offer a shuttle service for visitors staying downtown or near the Mayo Clinic, which is a thoughtful addition. The atmosphere felt family-friendly and welcoming, making it more than just a shopping tripâitâs a place to spend the day.
Overall, Apache Mall combines a great selection of stores, excellent dining, and a comfortable environment. Itâs a must-visit if youâre in Rochester, whether youâre a local or just...
Read moreOkay. So this is my review of The apache mall. About 2 mounths ago I went there about everyday and spent at least 20 dollars a day there eather at Sears, the food court, or hot topic. First of all If you go into searrs, theres alot of nice people in there that will help you with whatever you need help finding. The food court is nice to. Hot topic however is different. If you go in there and ur under the age of 21. or look younger they will stare you down like a hawk. Its happened to me, and all my friends. Even if they have no reason to suspect youll steal anything they will. And the reason why i stoped going to the mall and i will never be going there again is because of bunch of idiots. I speant money there everyday, I was nice to all the workers, And never once commited a crime or stole anything from there ever. they would talk about me BEHIND MY BACK. They would FOLLOW ME everywhere i went in the mall! And one day I finally got sick of it and asked them. I said "Will you please just stop following me?" Exactly that. and the "Nice" Mall cop responding saying "Nop. Im not going to and eather is any other mal security" And I said "so you admit your following me" He said "yep" I said can you stop? he said "nop" And just like that. If ur under the age of 21 or look young i can promise you on anything,. You will be watched. Thanks...
