Having a card that encouraged men to lust after a woman or encourage men and young guys to view women as a fun/ny sex object and to send the message of "it's okay to let your mind wander here. Its your birthday" is definitely not okay! Women today continue to be stripped of their dignity and class. We as women continue to be disrespected and only seen as either a live human sex toy or a baby making machine. To have this card right next to a spiritual one along with the spiritual one being right next to a card for a 6 year old boy encouraging him/her that if they're "Feeling like a princess? Strut your stuff today you shine" it's very off putting. You're then sending 2 very different messages. So which is it? Spiritual cards and have some more respect for women? Or get rid of the spiritual cards and continue to disregard women as worthy of respect and class and target our innocent children with pride cards? Ya can't have both! This IS INDEED an attempt to groom kids and undermine parents' authority and disrespect family values and morals. More importantly it's sending lies to our youth today. God doesn't make mistakes. You can wear the costume all you want but it doesn't make you a girl or boy, woman or man. The manager when I walked in and was looking at cards snapped at me and said "Ma'am we're closed now so try to wrap it up here asap" There was no announcement that the store was closing and I was just looking close to the register as the man in front of me was taking a bit longer to check out. I don't care what plans she had over the weekend or if she just wanted to go home but this behavior only causes you to lose customers. Would you want to support a store or business that spoke to you like you were ruining their weekend plans or were inconveniencing them because by the time you checked out it was only 5 min past closing? Yeah...probably should go back and review the meaning of ethics, business management, professionalism, the definition of humility and patience and how to treat customers with RESPECT. Hope the gal who was grumpy or off finds some vitamin D and turns that bristly...
Read moreI really love the convenience of this place, especially when it comes to simple USPS mail and package dropoffs. Customer service has always been friendly and helpful. However, one thing that really bugged me was an experience I had today. I brought the package perfectly sealed with the shipping label detached. The lady said she could not accept the package without the shipping label being taped on it, and even insisted I spend an outrageous amount of money to buy an entire roll of packing tape. She finally gave in and taped it, but charged me 50 cents for two 4 inch strips of packing tape. Had I known it was going to be such a big deal, I would have just secured it at home. Goodness! Otherwise, love this place and will keep...
Read moreI mail packages here & usually have great service & friendly conversation while my packages are processed, & would rank this as five stars. BUT the last time I was there a not-busy, pushy cashier butted in and "tried" to assist my (newer??) cashier in processing my two separate orders. Things got mixed up & flustered my cashier who was doing a good job until this other cashier "helped". Pushy Cashier, let the New Gal do her own orders to help build her confidence instead of horning in on her!? And Store Management--maybe set up the mail station with a bit of landing space for us to place our packages? That spot on the counter is just kind...
