The food seems to be a hit or miss some days. It seems like they cook it just right as others. The recipe seems to be different and lacking in flavor or undercooked. Tonight we came out to eat, and was greeted by an employee named Matt. he acknowledged us the minute we walked in the door, asked how he could help us very attentive, very professional was kind and helpful. During our meal we observed as the same gentlemen kept busy whether it was cleaning windows , wiping down tables…stocking etc.. the concerning part of the whole visit was the fact that two other employees stood in the same exact spot directly behind the cash register talking obnoxiously loud ignoring anything that was going Such as new guest walking in the door, people standing at the cash register waiting to be taken care of. Matt stopped what he was doing to come over and make sure they were taken care of while this entire process is going on the two employees still talking out of all the noises you could hear going on it was these two employees doing absolutely nothing. it’s annoying and unfortunate to watch those who lack common knowledge and respect or take any part of their job serious however, those very rare occasions where you see the younger generation take on responsibility improve to be a hard-working, dedicated or passionate employee. kudos to this worker named Matt. We appreciate your hard work and to the company maybe a sit down with the two other employees who think it’s more important to have their own personal life talk broadcasted… This may be a job, not a fit for them. Read moreI recently wrote a review on the website for Rochester, MN Marketplace location including a picture of the Pasta Fresca I ordered but, it has been deleted. Many people commented on it, many people liked it and responded a similar situation and I received a response that I would be contacted in 48 hours now that has come and gone. I stated in the review that my dish had no tomatoes, spinach and maybe a teaspoon of gets. They were many onions and noodles, which I could have made at home. This has happened at least 10 times at the same location within a 6 month time frame. I wish I would have taken pictures of them all. I am very disappointed for one in the food, the service and the lack of attention to this after being told I would be contacted and the fact my review was deleted. I had comments from people who use to work there saying how downhill the resteraunt has went, that there was the same issues that very night and other similar complaints. I'm not one to ever complain about my food because I know there's mistakes mad but, when it becomes a consistent problem I believe there needs to be attention brought. Read moreI am very disappointed with both of the Rochester locations. I did an online order about 6 weeks ago and it accidentally was placed at the store on Maine Ave instead of Marketplace. I went in to pick up the order at Marketplace and was told that they could cancel the other one and I could just get my order there. Never was canceled. I even provided them with my order number and etc. to check into it. I called both stores numerous times. A manager at the marketplace store did look into it and said they would be sending me gift cards in the amount of my purchase, and the money would be refunded to my account. Never happened. I am tired of calling and told it is being taken care of and nothing happens. The customer service is not what I thought it would be. Will not be using either location again.
