Taco Bell — Restaurant in Rochester

This is the closest location to my house so its frequently the most convenient to go to. However, that's where the convenience ends. Not only is the wait extremely long if you're physically in the store or drive thru, but if you order doordash, dont expect to see your order for at least an hour and a half. On multiple occasions ive ordered through doordash, just to watch the driver sit in the drive thru for an hour or more. When ive spoken with my dashers, they all said the same thing: the store makes them wait, regardless if there's a line. On top of that 90% of the time the order is wrong and/or missing items. I know this is fast food, but as someone who's worked in fast food, it takes minutes to make a meal. Its literally designed to work like that. I dont want to take it out on the employees because it ultimately falls on management, but the repeated occurrences and issues make this place worse and worse every day. Its located in such a prime spot of town, youd think the DM would actually do something about supporting the store when they clearly have this many reoccurring issues. Nov 20 2023 update on review; Since my previous comment this store has seen an upgrade in looks but something arw harder to hide with just fancy lights. Same negative employee attitude amd horrible service. Late night drive thru is a nightmare. I would avoid this and other Taco Bell drive-thrus. Completely outrageous and disgusting attitudes. Cleanliness is not top priority, standing and chit chating is. 0 stars from me Previous Comment: worst taco bell I've seen. There are a few employees that are there for work, the rest act like they're being forced into it. If serving customers isn't what you can do, find another job people. The work isles are ridiculously dirty and not at all maintained. Ive seen tacos, quesadillas, and condiments on the floor every time I've been; every time! It takes forever to place an order, because no one wants to take orders. Once again showing how lovely they are at their jobs. Once placed, the order takes way longer than it should. Also what is the point of asking how to spell someone's name if it's still going to be butchered? The bathrooms are dirtier than public school bathrooms. This place clearly needs...

It has been quite some time since I had personally visited a Taco Bell. But this night my children wanted it for dinner. We ate in, and needless to say I was beyond disappointed.

To start, the place was a disaster. There was no place to sit as no tables had been cleaned off, and the floors matched the table tops. I understand the short staffing issue, but as we ate, I just watched 3 of the 5 employees working just standing around chatting verses trying to catch up from the rush (cleaning wise).

We ordered the food and drinks on basically a giant iPad. There is no face to face ordering at all, which doesn’t allow for ordering things for the kids (customized orders). I had asked about changes to the for the kids and was told “if it ain’t on there, you can’t do it”. Whatever, pick it off type deal.

I ordered a Steak Quesadilla and couldn’t believe what I got. As you can see, the product is $4.89. There was sooooo little meat and cheese, it was worth maybe $.50. As well as the tacos, so little filling. Nothing was worth the cost at all.

It’s sad that things have got the way they are with increased cost and diminished product quality...
