For years, Macy's in Rochester has been my absolute go-to for building and refreshing my professional wardrobe. I've always appreciated the quality of their clothing and the variety of styles they offer, but what keeps me coming back time and time again are the incredible discounts and sales they have throughout the year. This past month, I needed to update my office attire for the fall season. I knew exactly where to head: Macy's. I was specifically looking for some new blouses, a well-fitting blazer, and maybe a new pair of dress pants or a skirt. As usual, Macyās didn't disappoint. Their career wear section is always well-stocked with a great selection of brands and styles. I immediately found several blouses that caught my eye, in a range of colors and fabrics. I also spotted a beautiful blazer in a classic navy that I knew would be a versatile addition to my wardrobe. But the real magic happened when I started checking the prices and looking for deals. Macy's is known for its frequent sales and promotions, and this trip was no exception. They were having a "Friends & Family" sale, which offered an extra percentage off already reduced prices. I also noticed several clearance racks with even deeper discounts on past-season items. I ended up finding some amazing deals. The blazer I loved was already marked down, and with the "Friends & Family" discount, I got it for almost half its original price! I also found a few blouses on the clearance rack that were an absolute steal. I even picked up a stylish pencil skirt for a fraction of what I would have expected to pay. Beyond the specific sales, I also take advantage of Macy's coupons and Macy's Money whenever I can. They frequently send out coupons in the mail or offer them online, and earning Macy's Money allows you to save even more on future purchases. Itās like getting paid to shop! The staff at the Rochester Macy's are always helpful and friendly, too. They're readily available to offer styling advice or help you find specific sizes and items. This makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to the excellent discounts and promotions at Macy's, I was able to completely refresh my office wardrobe without breaking the bank. I walked away with several high-quality pieces that I know Iāll be wearing for years to come. If youāre looking for stylish and professional clothing at affordable prices, I highly recommend checking out Macy's in Rochester. With their frequent sales, coupons, and clearance events, you can always find amazing deals on everything you need for your work wardrobe. It's truly my go-to destination for dressing professionally...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love Macy's its my go to store. In fact I was a Macy's employee many years ago. However, their customer service has gone downhill BIG TIME! Especially in Rochester. I had 2 bad experiences in less than a month. A few weeks ago I stopped in to return a few tops I bought online. The store associate told me should would help me shortly and proceeded to put away clothing items for 10 MINUTES while I stood there and waited. Then she slowly looked to see if each item was on the receipt, not a huge deal but all she had to do was scan the receipt and the item so she wasted another 5 minutes. I signed for my return and it didn't take, she looks at me and says "okay, sign it for real this time". EXCUSE ME??? That is my real signature! Additionally, she was extremely unkempt. I am all about individual style but there needs to be a bit of professionalism. Yesterday I stopped in to look for a winter coat. I stopped by the purse section first where the sales associate stood at the checkout counter the whole time . I was not greeted, smiled at or acknowledged one bit. So I moved onto coats. What a disaster, nothing was sorted by size, brand, style or anything. I found a coat I wanted to try but couldn't find my size since everything was so misplaced. Yet again there was a sales associate in the area who did not greet me, offer to help or even acknowledge me. SALE LOST! She walked through the coat area and fluffed a few racks but made no attempt to zip unzipped coats, put items back in order or make a sale. I might add that I was the ONLY CUSTOMER in both areas at the time so its not like the staff was tied up with other customers. I wish I would have taken photos of how unorganized and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was looking for nail polish to paint my nails before my wedding and there was a male employee in a bright pink shirt staring me down wherever my husband and I walked. We were walking around the cosmetics and perfumes and didnāt find any there. I started to get uncomfortable because it was clear that because I was dressed casually he immediately assumed I was a thief. I thought I was being crazy but my husband noticed it too. We started to leave and this super sweet lady noticed we were disappointed and asked if we needed help. I didnāt get her name but she had really cool eyeliner and directed us to go upstairs and check, and I was so thankful for her. She totally saved us from having to go anywhere else. We checked out upstairs and things were fine until my husband went into the bathroom. While I was waiting with my Macyās bag I was looking at the comforter sets when an obvious secret shopper started following me around. It was upsetting and I was so glad when we left. Not everyone is going to get insanely dressed up for the mall, and you canāt just assume that because Iām wearing an oversized t-shirt and jeans means Iām stealing. I was bloated. Not stealing. And to top it off as we were leaving the guy in the pink shirt continued to glare at us as we left. It isnāt right to treat people like that, or for secret shoppers to follow young women around the second they are alone. I think it was pretty obvious a giant comforter set package wouldnāt fit in my little plastic Macyās bag. Donāt come here unless youāre dressed in designer and look...
