Sooo, Apparently the digital coupons don't operate correctly. I've frequented this chain of stores but on this day..... a patron was purchasing items based on the digital coupons. She is checking out, cashier gives her the total $25.00. Customer gives 1 paper coupon for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more and 4 digital coupons, 2 @$5 off & 2 @$2 off. Totaling $19 off a $25 order. The cashier and the cash register seemed to lock up. Boy I boy wth it do that for. Long story short patron does not purchase any of the items, gets the paper coupon back and storms out the store. Then of course, I'm next in line and I get the "oh this person's wants all of that for free" line. I didn't know or care who was right in the situation, ma'am let me get these things and I'm out of here. Could've been a little more professional afterwards but I guess it was the heat of the moment...
Read moreI'll give it an average of 3. They're just like any other business who's desperate to make $. They sell what you absolutely need. They overprice a lot of items for the type of "affordable" products they're supposed to have, but they're conveniently close to residential streets where people can walk there and get what they can't find at Food Lion. So. They're in a good location, they're banking off of that. I found a couple affordable things I needed that sell for less than other stores nearby so I went in a couple times. But. It's not a place I'd shop regularly, one of the other reviews was correct, they should have had their shelves stocked more when I was there and have the store more organized with more walking space available and less boxes just sitting there. So, maybe they're short staffed and underpaid?...
Read moreI have been to both store on Cumberland street in Dunn, n.c. but the isles are always full of boxes. Blocking a path thru at times. I worked at the old Rite Aid in Benson,n.c.we got our truck on Tuesday's. He made sure to have extra people that day to get the items that came put up. They dance went for when we all transferred to the old Rite Aid/ Kerr Drugs in Four Oaks, N.C. we didnt have boxes every where. It was organized, we had plenty of other people working that day there too. We did not have a mess like The Dollar General did. I cant believe there can't find a cleaner way of getting there truck put up in a organize way. It looks bad on the managers. At times there's only a couple people working that day. What's...
