Sappy mom post ahead⦠(Stylist: Nikki Killough) This girl has a birthmark (both of my kids do) on her jawline under her ear. It has texture, color, some hair and is just a part of her. Since she was TWO, she has told me she didnāt like it. My ā„ļø broke the first time she mentioned it. I figured she would have an opinion about it at some point but at two??? We visited the dermatologist when she was 4 and he said to wait until she was done growing to do anything about it ā IF she decides to do anything. She doesnāt like to pull her hair back because of it. When she does pull it back, she is usually insistent that some hair hangs ā I assume to cover it. Yesterday she got a trim and the stylist was an ANGEL in disguise. She noticed it, she acknowledged it and told Katie it was a beauty mark. That it is a symbol of her beauty. I could have cried and wanted so badly to hug the woman. I tell Katie it is a mark of where the angels kissed her before she was sent to us. But someone, other than her mama, sending out positivity about an insecurity⦠THAT IS POWERFUL! The world can be cruel. People often choose to take advantage of and knock you down for things you have NO control over. This small, authentic, moment will do wonders for my girl. Maybe not today but this WILL stick with her. ā¤ļø #angelsamongus...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made an appointment after speaking with Amanda on the phone who said she could do Bayalage color on my hair. After 3 hours of being there I go home and am NOT happy with my hair. It is NOTHING like I asked for. I contacted her and she said she would fix my hair. I very reluctantly agreed to this even though I had already spoke with someone else who is experienced in Bayalage and said that dragging the color would not give me the desired result. She admitted that she did not do my hair correctly and didn't know what happened. After being there another 1.5 hours to have my hair corrected it was still nothing like I asked and I have terrible lines in my hair. It is absolutely embarrassing to go out with my hair like this. I contacted Amanda again and eventually asked for a refund, even a partial refund so I can have someone else fix my hair. I have given her multiple opportunities to correct the situation and she would not respond to me. After speaking with another stylist in the salon, she agreed to fix my hair and the manager would compensate her for it. Kristen corrected my hair and it looks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here for some simple balayage looking highlights, I left with half the hair I had before, painful chemical burns and was still expected to pay $150. They said they donāt do refunds either, my hair looked like ramen noodles and fell out in chunks after the stylist started brushing it. My hair was all over the floor, I cried terrible. She damaged my hair beyond repair. On top of that, she did not even finish drying my hair and refused to style it when she was done. She knew what she had done. I brought her a doctors note the next day, the doctor diagnosed me with chemical burns all over my scalp. My medicine was $5 and she would not even pay for that. The manager was rude and unhelpful as well. I finally got a refund after multiple calls and threatening to sue all the next day. It was very unprofessional, the lady met me in a parking lot and was rude and had a lot to say there as well. I will forever be traumatized by this terrible experience. I didnāt get an apology, even after...
