I purchased a washer and dryer. Around the last of August first of September. I was told it was on backorder and it wouldn't be delivered until November 30. Which was fine. My old washer and dryer still had a little life left. November 28 I recieved a call. The samsung washer and dryer I purchased could not be delivered until December 9. Days before the 9th I recieved another call. The samsung washer and dryer that I bought had been discontinued. Months after I've purchased them! I was offered an upgrade. A bigger washer and dryer free of charge. For the inconvience. I ask to double check the upgrade items to make sure they're in stock. I was told yes they were. The new and 3rd delivery date was set on December 27. On December 26 I recieved a text. My new samsung washer and dryer would be delivered on time. The delivery window was 11 - 3. So now I get rid of the old washer and dryer because here comes a shinny new set! I click the link to track my order on the 27th. Everything was fine until I see it's been delayed. So knowing the history I called the 1-800 number. I was told it was just a delay. It would be delivered outside of the delivery window. But it would be at my home later. Ok!! The time is now 4:30. I check the tracking link. Unable to deliver. Now I'm mad! Dirty clothes are in the floor now. Waiting ! I go to the store ( home depot) tell them about my problem. Home depot customer service calls samsung. Samsung says "the washer and dryer that I purchased is not in stock" ( what have I been tracking all day) and for the inconvience offered me a upgrade. Wait a mimute! I've heard this B.S. before! Then they offered to let me borrow one. WTH!! Cancelled my order!!! Never again! This is the craziest BS ever! Samsumg is full of it! And Home depot needs to do a better job of making sure their customers are being treated with respect and not lied to! Home depot tries to keep their hands clean in these situations and place the blame on the brand. But I purchased it from Home Depot! So it will be light bulbs only from now on. A store this big should...

So, I am not the nicest person when I am not treated as the indispensable part of a business and left, leaving my stuff scattered a bit everywhere on my way out. Associates need to have something to do besides tending to the customer, you know. You're welcome.
OLDER : Considering my recent two experiences, HD must have hired some rejects from Lowe's. People at HD used to be very nice and dedicated to helping the customer find what he/she needs but it seems to be no longer the case.
I was at the customer service desk to order 3 pallets of stones ($500). The "associate" started to roll her eyes because I only had the manufacturer reference. The labels have many numbers and nobody ever knows which one is correct. She made it very obvious that I was an annoyance.
Thanks for nothing. I went somewhere else.
This is really sad. I tried to call to report the unfortunate incident (how many $500 customers can you deter a day ?) but all the associates (sic) were too busy helping other customers. I bet they were...
Businesses still don't seem to realize that the customer is, by far, the most important person in the store and that he/she has many...
Read moreFor the first time, in all the years of going to Home depot. I've had my very first bad experience. I ordered online some tools, as it says in email items will be ready within two hours. My first bad experience once I got in store, was with customer service in order pickup. She was very rude as I asked if my order was ready, I told her I was a little early and was seeing if order happened to be ready. I got a rude " I don't know what your order is sir". I have her my order number, she looks it up and says "NO, it's not ready you ordered an hour ago and the order pickup person just got here 9 min.s ago. Ok, I got that, so left drove around for awhile. Went back to Home depot, walked in asked same woman. Could you tell me if my order is ready, NO after looking it up again. She starts tell me that it takes 2 to 4 hours to get online orders up and that online order pickup person is busy getting tomorrows orders up. I'm like why I placed order at 7:45pm, long story after 3 people and the customer service getting angry I finally got my order. I do understand shortage of people wanting to work, but also supply and demand if orders are taking longer than usual. There needs to be a system better built for each individual store on time management. But, this will not stop me from going to home Depot. But, will kinda make me think twice about...
