American Eagle — Local services in Rockaway Township

Terrible experience at this store. I don't think I'll step foot in this store again. There's plenty of other stores to patronize that don't give off the vibe this place does. First off, they must either have no manager or the manager is a kid. So many very young "sales associates" who really don't seem to care at all about customers. They were running around the store like it was a dance party, only paying attention to their friends and to customers of the same ethnicity. This store had music blasting, to the point you could not here what others were saying. I'm all for music in stores but this was giving Hollister & Abercrombie. At check out I had one item and it took way too long because the cashier was more concerned about their friends and singing along to the song playing. The cashier could not complete one transaction without interruption because they were concerned their friends might leave and they were carrying on side conversations. I get it, they're kids and they don't have the maturity yet but I was in many competitive stores where the younger sales associates were absolutely lovely and helpful and at least pretended to care...

Employees are terrible. A 2-hour pickup order took all day. When I called at 4:30, was told they were just starting to pack pickup orders for the day. Got a text my order was ready, went to the store and it took all 3 girls to get it together. No one knew what was going on with my order. They were beyond rude and completely unapologetic after making me wait. All 3 need to take a course on customer service. Never setting foot in this...
