Classical Movement Collective has fantastic sprung floors and a massive studio space for plenty of dance choreography. It's the perfect north Brevard drop-in destination if you want to grab a ballet class. Bathrooms always high and tight--plenty of parking. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and artistically innovative. Elaine's instruction makes every dancer feel special--she excels at modern improvisational technique and en-pointe toe work in my (wet behind the ear) knowledge. Elaine is a wonderful artist and person. We are fortunate to have so many beautiful dancers in Brevard. Truly we are blessed! Elaine is fast growing a group of young ladies with syncopation, fearlessness, and a unique democratic collective feel to their style. Each dancer is encouraged to express her uniqueness. Elaine is every bit in charge when directing, but at the same time-- she listens to her students and improvises this "hip" new kinds of dance that so many young people adore. Not easy to do! It's wonderful to see such beautiful talented dancers gaining confidence in this dance collective. I love all of Brevard dance community-I am a visual artist and dancer-each community has its own flair, but I really dig the purple decor at CMC!...

The environment is very supportive and welcoming of all dancers at every level. The teachers are kind, nurturing, passionate, encouraging but also assertive when they need to be. My daughter’s love for dance, her drive and motivation has skyrocketed since we started at CMC. This is her favorite time in the week and it makes this mama’s heart so happy to see and know this is a place for her to thrive and not get lost in the crowd. The teachers are prepared and ready to instruct and coach each class. I absolutely love the variety of dance styles this studios has to offer. Definitely an incubator for growth for our dancers and a studio that’s serious about harnessing your child’s potential whatever their goals may be. I found Classical Movement Collective searching for a summer camp for my 11 year old ballet dancer. She lost interest in dance because our most recent studio did not challenge her enough.

She participated in the week long Junior Intensive in July. It was one of the hardest and happiest weeks of her life! She danced for 3ish hours each day in various styles including ballet, Broadway, and contemporary. She was tired and sore every day, but she rediscovered her love of dance!
