I ate the Philly Cheesesteak (with Provolone, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms) AND the Semi Smash Burger (with lettuce, pickles, onions, cheddar).
When I arrived, I chatted with the bartender for a bit and grabbed the best whisky they have right now, Gentleman Jack. Then because I'm an oddball - a Skrewball.
I caught Chef Adonius as he was walking around performing, his duties, and asked him what he said would be the best or his favorite thing on the menu in his personal opinion, he thought for a moment and said the Philly.
I'd like to fully heartedly say that the chef was pulling out his A-game when I said "let's go for the Philly." And boy o boy, that Philly was delicious.
On a side note, Chef Adonis recommends provolone on the Philly - which is an accurate and correct recommendation 😀.
The server brought it out right after it was done cooking... and since it wasn't busy, the philly was brought out instantly (can't speak to busy times).
It was piping hot and SOOO juicy. The flavors popped in my mouth liked you'd expect a Philly. 10/10 for Rockledge, FL.
Then I asked for the Chef's #2 on the menu, he said the Semi Smash burger.
So I ordered that without tomato and kind of.... challenged Chef Adonis to a burger-off with Titusville-favorite "Burger Robs". Rob won in this challenge, but Chef Adonis's Smash burger was like... easily in the top 10 of any burger I've had in the last 6 months of memory, including burgers from Daytona, Port Orange, and Seattle WA.
So, with all of this is mind, I had a few drinks as well... which were reasonable pours... so good on the server! 👍
What I'd like to try next is the shrimp and grits - all of the pics look great!
Atmosphere: I'll say that the pictures of local kiddos playing sports is endearing, however, there's gotta be a.... classier way of displaying them?
Great job...

King's Grill is a cafe with a local connection! It is a rather large sports bar. It welcomes the community with open arms and has a good reputation. It has four sections for your convenience. (The booth section, bar section the huge bar, a children's section (for their entertainment) and an outdoor section). I found this setup would meet anyone's needs. I found the children's section was very unique. The chairs were smaller, some independent activities and a large TV. The outdoor seating section meets the needs of fresh air patrons still wanting to view sports through the picture windows. King's has quite a few TVs for the sports lovers!❣️ I feel, menu selections meet the needs of the patrons. Prices are really more than average. Worth a try if you are looking for a locally owned restaurant. King's has a website! Please check it out for weekly activities.
In my review, a friend and I were looking to check out this local restaurant on Barton Blvd. We went in for lunch. Very welcoming as soon as we came. ❣️. Very friendly server Lexus, was fantastic. She took our drink order of water, and then our lunch order. My friend ordered garlic and parmesan wings with carrots and celery. I, as you know by now, order off the menu and had a change up,😂😂. I ordered a ham club... without the middle piece of bread 😂, extra mayonnaise, no lettuce or tomato, white bread and lightly toasted. 🤷. Okay so I wanted a ham sandwich on toasted bread. 🤷 Our meals came out, the way we ordered it. The owner/ manager checked on us. ❣️❣️. I so enjoyed the sandwich. My friend is a "chicken wing connoisseur", felt they were okay 🤷 🤷. That's fine .King's Grill is a locally owned restaurant which has a good community following!!! ...
Read moreI NEVER leave reviews but I feel compelled to leave one this time, even if it is for the owner to know what she needs to improve upon. I wanted to try out something new as well as to support a local business. I don't usually go to new restaurants when they first open because they are still figuring things out. We took this into account and remained patient when things were moving VERY slowly. They had a jazz performer that night, who was very good, but the music was too loud! Even when he wasn't playing and they had recorded music playing, the volume was never decreased so we had to yell across the table to be able to hear each other. I was facing the restaurant so was able to see how things were being run. It took a very long for people to receive their food. When the kitchen did bring out the food, they brought one item at a time rather than food for the whole table so many people sat there and watched the others eat while waiting patiently for their food. After our server brought our drinks and took our order, she never came back to check on us. Other servers did and refilled our drinks. When they started to ask us what we ordered and thanked us for being so patient, I started to worry. We were finally told that they were working on our order and we would be next. After that I watched 2 other tables being served to people who sat down after us. After over an hour of waiting we finally got up and left. This was the worst experience I have ever had and my expectation were very low to start. I will not be back. I hope they improve and that things get better for others who decide to...
