Stopped by at 8:42 pm, so they still had over an hour before closing. We were met at the speaker with a rude greeting. We replied with a cheery response to try to hopefully make her feel better. She again was rude to us. When our order popped up on the screen, we said that there was stuff missing from it, only to find she had already turned her microphone off (I guess because there was no response). Got up to the window and told her that there were items left off. She turned away, added them, and the only words she said was our new total. My husband held out his debit card, which she snatched out of his hand and closed the window. We could see her inside waving her arms around as of complaining about something. She opened the window, handed my husband his card without saying a word, and slammed the window on him when he asked for her name. She then walked away (all the way out of the employee kitchen area). The other employee went and got our food. We asked her what the other girl's name was (we didn't want to assume that Mandi, the name on the receipt was our rude hostess). The rude girl could've been a new employee that was logged in under someone else's name. The new girl wouldn't tell us the other girls name. So we asked for hers, just in case she was Mandi. She refused to tell us her name as well. We asked for the manager, which the girl said she had no idea where she was. We refused to leave so she finally walked out of the kitchen area in the same direction the first girl had. The first girl came back into the kitchen area, followed by the manager. I don't know if they had been in the dining room or outside but it took them long enough to come back in. The manager very SLOWLY made her way over to the drive thru window. She wouldn't even listen to us try to tell her what happened, she kept talking over us and saying "Sorry, I'll fix that". How she even heard what to fix is beyond me. Her solution was to offer us a free drink. REALLY??? Seriously bad management!!!! It kills me that this type of attitude is expecting to make $15/hour. We always try to cheer people who work in the service industry up because we know it's hard dealing with people all day. But we've never had such a rude attitude. It would've been a bit easier to understand if they had been busy. But there was not another customer inside or in the drive thru. The only good thing about this experience was that our whoppers tasted good. Kuddos to whoever made...
Read moreIf I could give this location zero stars, I would. Going thru the drive thru before work, I noticed we were the only customers there. The person taking our order in drive thru was busy gossiping to another employee while holding down the mic. We asked for a eggnormous burrito meal and a ham, egg, and cheese crossanwich. We received two sausage biscuits that were not discovered until half way to work. Being someone who cannot eat sausage, I called this location back. They said they would refund my money. When I called back around noonish, since my money hadn't been refunded, Veronica, the manager told me that they should have told me it would take a couple of days, which they had not explained. She said to come back for a replacement meal. Today, when we went thru the drive thru for the replacement meal, again being the only ones there, we were told to come in for the replacement meal. We waiting inside for seven minutes before we were even approached. Once approached, Dollie, said that we needed to bring in the receipt for the replacement meals. I explained that they didn't give us the receipt when they had originally messed up our order. She told me without the receipt there was no replacement meal. Already running late for work, and a process that should have taken three minutes tops, we left. We will never be back again. If you wonder why your ratings are so low, please look at your employees who have a hard time maintaining attention to one single order and the customer service they provide. This is a disgrace of a Burger King and more so on the human race and it's...
Read moreI recently went to the Burger King at 423 Barton Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955. I work as an engineer at a fabrication plant in Rockledge, 400 employees about 5 miles from the restaurant. That will be the last time I ever visit a BK. I was harassed by the female manager because I did not give her a coupon code that I was using at the drive through speaker so she would not have to double ring the order at the window. When I refused to repeat the code that I could not find she repeatedly asked me to recite the number that I had no idea what she was talking about. I DO NOT WORK AT BK and am not required to recite anything at the window besides my order which I am paying for. I the future I would recommend hiring competent managers at a minimum with better attitudes in such a competitive fast food industry to insure a customer base that will return business. The plant where I work has been informed of this rude and unacceptable behavior by your employees an many will be going to WENDYS and MCDONALDS INSTEAD. I have called your corporate headquarters and written other e-mails with absolutely no response from anyone, WHICH IS WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM A RESTAURANT THAT REALLY DOES NOT CARE NOR APPRECIATE ITS CUSTOMERS. PLEASE CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS THIS WAY UNTIL YOUR STORES ALL CLOSE AND CONTINUE TO REWARD YOUR MANAGERS AND EMPLOYEES FOR RUNNING OFF CUSTOMERS AND KILLING YOUR BUSINESS. GOOD JOB KEEP IT UP. Update: The new BK after the remodel and hiring new people is great! Big...
