I have been a long time customer of International Hair Salon. In 2007 I moved to New London and eventually went to a Mall Salon in Waterford because it was on my way home. My hair was not coming out as good as when it was being done at International so I then tried a local barber shop. The barber shop was ok but still not as good as International. Recently I decided to go the extra distance to have Carmella cut my hair again at The International Hair Salon. I am very happy because my hair looks good again! I have never had a bad haircut there and only tried other places because I am a very busy business owner! The salon is beautiful inside, they will make you an expresso and I like to joke with the staff who are very friendly! As long as I live here in CT I will not stray...

I called the salon yesterday hoping to book a last minute appointment for today. Ed the salon manager is professional and polite and was able to squeeze me into their busy schedule. I had an 8 am appt with Carmela and I went into the salon with the expectation of having no choice but to cut my hair off to deal with the damage from a previous bleach job. After Carmela examined my hair and asked about the current products I use. She explained that she wanted to try a treatment and glaze first before cutting my hair to see how my hair would react.
