VERY DISAPPOINTED! I went to the Walmart in Rocky Hill over 2 years ago and I vowed that I’d never go back. I was preparing to go on vacation so I stopped there to pick up a few items. While browsing the store, I noticed there were a ton of sunglasses marked down with a bright yellow clearance sticker with bold/black letters… $3.00. So, I spent several minutes choosing just the right glasses for my face. After some time, I finished my shopping; checked out and went to my vehicle. I decided to check my receipt before leaving because it seemed a bit higher than I expected. I checked and sure enough one pair of the sunglasses (that were clearly marked down with that clearance sticker) rang up as $14 dollars. So, I went back inside to the customer service desk. One of the people at the desk said that he’d have to go back to the display tower and confirm the price of the glasses… sure, no problem! I walked back with him to show him where I got the glasses from and to show him others like the ones I chose (that were also marked down). We found the glasses and brought them to the service desk to check the price. Sure enough, they rang up as $14. The rep told me that since they are ringing up at this price, he cannot override it. I said, but they are clearly marked down to $3. He tells me that someone (a worker) must’ve marked the wrong sunglasses down and put them on the clearance rack. Sir, that is not my problem; as the costumer, I should get them at the price they’re marked down as! This man would NOT give me those glasses at the price they were marked down to. So, I asked to speak to the manager. He said that he is the manager. So, I asked to speak to the person who’s over him. He rudely picked up the phone and dialed a number and spoke to “someone”. He proceeded to explain the situation. He then tells me the person on the phone is telling him the same thing that he told me. I asked to speak to the person. He hands me the phone (again, rudely). When I got on the phone with the person, she echoed what he just told me. I said to her… “you are willing to lose a customer over a clearly marked down $3.00 pair of sunglasses”? She basically said “I really don’t care”. By this time, nearly a half hour later, I asked her for their corporate office’s number. I called the number while standing at the customer service desk. The person that I spoke to proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do if the manager is not willing to honor the clearance price. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. So, I said the same thing to her… this large company is willing to lose a regular customer over a pair of clearly marked down sunglasses? She said, I’m sorry, but there’s nothing I can do if the manager won’t honor the clearance price. It’s been a little over two years and I haven’t set foot in that store but one time (and that was because I had no choice). But, even with that one time, I bought absolutely nothing!!! Going to this Walmart was a nightmare not because of the store being dirty not being organized or the employees inside of the store I had a great experience inside unfortunately I had a shopping cart that hit my car and left damage and they did not do anything regarding of the situation because it stated that it was a customer that basically hit the part with his car and the car hit my car but they're not even allow me to see the video to make sure that it was a customer and it wasn't the wind that blew the car into her car I have worked in Walmart before and then this situation we have seen customers get hit with carts in their car and we brought them to security and security show them videos but I don't know if it changed cuz they said that they allow police officers to see it so we don't understand that why we can't see it in the police officers the only one that gets to see the on video I find out from the employees in the inside and upstating that this is not the only time that this situation happen that this situation happens a lot I think they should upgrade their security camera to better quality so they can see the customer's car license plates so then This problem should not happen again to another person and that person had to pay for damages out of their pocket for something...

Can't return "ANYTHING" without the 3rd degree. Bought a brand new "Water Pic", battery powered, and not even Lithium Ion. They said you paid cash, so you can't return it. I said I just bought it, it leaks, I want a new one. NOPE ! Got the supervisor, and still, "NOPE" can't return it. Tried with a cooler that said 9 day ice retention that cost me $185. +tax. It melted in 2 days.!!! They wouldn't take it back. Hate Walmart. Except for the people not ripping you off. Got double charged. Luckily they have cameras, and were able to look back to see I had only one item. But still. The scanners don't work half the time, and give you the wrong prices. Got to the register, and it was a different price. They had to check the scanner, and then it was showing the correct price. Shady business. Don't buy anything expensive there. Especially TV's. They are made to break in 2 years, and have it cheaply made from manufacturers. Shifty company. Only get necessities 💯 ! (Food, drink, clothes, and that all. Get everything from somewhere else.) Small business is better, and will treat you better. (Walmart is to big to change for the better) (I would sue them, but don't want to waste anymore time with them, and it would be for...

Just had the worst experience with lead associates at customer service desk short blonde hair. There was good priced stroller I found scanned with my Walmart app showed 37 dollars. Needless to say it rang up at different price 80.00 the lady said she was the manager and she’s not giving it for the price I scanned I was wrong she yelled and argued she was right refused to get a real manager and lied and said she was the manager when her tag said lead associate I worked retail I know what was right it was a clearance item I’m not sure why she acted so unprofessional it disappointing I liked Walmart I will be avoiding this one from now on I hope she gets disciplined acting so rude to customers and lying to them about her position.

I asked customer service what their protocol was for damaged product or if they offered a discount for the damage. They declined and gave me a look as if I was trying to fool them with my reasonable question. At check out I had to wait longer for them to look up the price because I couldn’t even scan it due to the damage. I’ve had much better experience with other stores such as Barnes and Noble with quality control and will keep that in mind shopping in the future.

The cashier who checked me out was nice; however, I had an associate look me directly in the face and look away without greeting or offering assistance and it was obvious I was looking for something. Because I didn't want to subject myself to her negative energy, I walked 4 aisle down and asked another associate. If I had not been in a hurry, I would have left without making a purchase. They were not that busy because I actually had no wait in the checkout line.
