I hosted a party yesterday for my 72 year old aunt that got married last month in Abingdon, VA in a small, intimate wedding. That way, those of us here in the local area could further help to commemorate their special day. The Azteca De Oro staff really bent over backwards to help me to make the right choices for the occasion! I had had something different in mind but what I ended up with was something moreso authentic and fresh, tasted as GOOD as it looked, and the prices were very reasonable! Serves tacos carne asada and churros. Just ask person at front desk. There is a variety of ingredients from tamatillo, vermicelli and queso fresca. The pastries are made in the store, and are extremely delicious. The snacks foods are quintessentially the same snacks all Latin@s had growing up. The staff is extremely friendly and bilingual.
